My Turtle is 2.75 yrs old now
Her name is Romie
I never purchased an aquarium or UV light for her
She raised only in water tub
No more extra ordinary care
She raised amongst us
We take her out daily in the morning from the water and put her in sunlight
She sits for almost 2 hrs in a same position
Don't even go anywhere
We trained her so nicely
She doesn't even bite when we touch her mouth and she's so friendly to us that she loves to be in our hands
We only keep her in the tub during night and afternoon rest of the time she is in the living room only
Her shell is soo strong because proper sunlight is necessary to her
Infact my Verternairy doctor wad amazed that how nice your turtle is
We feed everything to her

Bro I have a question!! I have a small pond like your balcony pond and I mainly feed three big turtles (longer than 6 inches) with the green pellets. And I think the water turns green because of the color of the waste by the turtle. Do you think the green color in the water is due to the waste by the turtles or is it because of the algae. It’s because of both the waste and algae. Keep good filter water circulation it will help to reduce that !

Hi, your vdos are really very informative. I have a pair. Male 5 inches and female 6.5. Both of them love to eat dried shrimps and prawns. They do eat pallets but not much. We feed them morning and evening. Female eats around 10 to 15 gm of dry fish and male lesser than that. And they are growing well. Do i still need to reduce the amount of feed?

See non veg stuff give them lots protein but at the same what you provide through pellets they have balanced protein & vitamins so you can manage the diet with pellets & veggies ! 👍

I would like to ask if i have a red ear slider (about 3.5 inch now) that used to eat about 20-25 pallets per day, would it be recommended to switch to this diet? And also did you use this same diet schedule throughout the juvenile and adult years of your RES? or would you recommend any other suitable veggies in their diet?
25 pellets is too much for 3.5 inch 😊! You can start offering carrots , broccoli 🥦😊👍

I have Red Eared Slider turtles 2 years old.. They never ate veggies how to feed them veggies? They love live fish, dry fish, meal worms, may flies, taiyo pellets etc they are very freindly with us.. Please, suggest how to feed them veggies and also how to encourage them to bask regularly coz it is about 1 month they dont bask... They are healthy enough other than that

Hello sir..I am feeding my turtles two times..one is very small and the other one is a little bigger but still smaller than yours..I am feeding them two times..in the morning and evening (pellets only) 4 pieces in the morning and 4 in the evening. But there are so many fungi on their skin I tried to removed but can't remove them totally. Please make a video on that or tell me. Because we are worried about them and they are getting slower..

My turtle I named Steve he is three years old he started acting odd a couple days ago I thought maybe he was lonely he was still eating so I didn't really think he was sick but then he started we're he would just hide all day and only come out and barely eat so I looked on Google his symptoms and it turned out I was feeding him all wrong i wasn't giving him enough lettuce and stuff and now I know why he is acting odd it was just because I was feeding him completely wrong tomorrow me and my mom hopefully can go to the store and buy the correct food for him!

Jyoti Dalal Hi Jyoti, what you can start doing is, don’t give food in the morning & evening just keep chopped coriander & Carrots . Start practising this exercise for few days ! She might start eating veggies!

Hello sirji, I have a turtle who is 15 yrs old.. Before use to feed normal turtle/fish food then due to lockdown, couldn't go out. I fed him chicken for few days. Now it has stopped eating his normal food but only wants raw chicken.. Pls guide sir what I could do..!!
Hello ! It happens ! When they get used to meat they won’t eat anything else ! It’s just you need to keep offering the pellets or veggies regularly but won’t give meat and eventually out hunger it will start eating! Plus try to keep those veggies close raw chicken so veggies absorbs the smell of chicken and turtles can feel it 😊

ASD TECH Hi, Giving sunlight is really good option but hand handling them every day for the sunlight I wouldn’t recommend as it will make the turtle sick better to install the light above the aquarium.
