  • “When you play the Canucks, whatever the score is, they always play a consistent style of hockey. You know, they do the right things. And I think we’re still striving for that.”
    Head Coach Rick Tocchet sits down with Kate Pettersen to talk about what the team has accomplished so far and the goals for the remainder of the season.

    Kate has been the most underrated addition to the Canucks Org. Keeps things light, asks normal questions that can actually lead to a non-generic response and the content created for fans has been awesome this year :)

    Tocchet, Sedins, Adam Foote and Sergei Gonchar! What a team of coaches. I just loved the way Adam Foote played. Tuff as nails.

    I like that Toccs LIKES to be interviewed. He doesn't come across as a cat in a bath tub (that's how Greener always came across to me). He loves talking hockey and take the time to answer questions in depth.

      I agree, compared to some coaches. I really enjoy listening to his thoughts on the team in press conferences and interviews.

      That’s not a interview , she a paid Canuck reporter, all questions are set up, it’s a promotion. It’s part of the buy in…the propaganda. Using the media ..

    • @RobDucharme
      @RobDucharme 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @Mexicantours It's literally how Toccs would respond to questions after a game.
      What word would you use to describe this if it isn't an interview?
      Find something else to complain about. And look up the word "semantics." The world is a better place when people stop using semantics for petty bullshit.

      @@RobDucharme I’m not complaining…but just pointing out the fact… all questions would be pre approved coming from her …in all situations..especially in a sit down situation.. other reporters no, and yes tocs has been around hockey and media long enough to know how to handle them, that’s why they have their own Canuck reporter in there all the time, to use them in a positive way..she’s great, she like the rest of the team has bought in , and focuses always in the positive ..

      Some players suck too. Mcdavid is the best player but worst interview guy lol always about what the nhl needs to improve and never say what people wanna hesr about the game.

    I love how Tocchet is able to sit down and discuss things with people, have a compromise, build understanding, and accept feedback from people. This is a culture that people would love to be in.

    I've been a Canuck fan since we lost the wheel spin to the Sabers in 1971 . Canucks got Dale Talon [ not a bad player ] but nowhere near Gilbert Perreault speed and skill .
    The one thing that stands out after watching the Canucks this year = they create turnovers and chaos with their one handed sweeping stick work by every Canuck
    The Rangers game that the Canucks won , the takeaway Stat was Canucks 13 takeaways and the Rangers 1 takeaway

    All these people saying that that she's underrated and all this garbage but the fact of the matter is is that she asks the same drab questions every game to every person she interviews there's no real questions anymore. She's worse than some of those media guys at the end of games interviewing the coach they all ask the same drab questions
