iPhone 15 Plus battery test - INSANE travel day!

- I think it's safe to say that the iPhone 15 Plus is the battery champion this year, just like iPhone 14 Plus was the year before. But it's one thing to test it in regular circumstances (around the house, on WiFi... etc). What about on an insane, 12-13 hour travel day while mostly on cellular? In this video I walk you through a somewhat spontaneous trip I took to NYC from Detroit, flying to LGA, taking Uber to Brooklyn, the subway to Manhattan, walking balk to Brooklyn and taking another Uber to my Airbnb!

The battery on this thing is a behemoth,i kid you not,37min usage for 1% drop.15 plus in the same league as 13PM.Was thinking to get the crazy expensive 15PM but why pay for the features i will probably never use.People on the rope for purchasing this,you have my blessing.
Yeah just got the 15 plus from the 11. Battery life is insane considering where I was before… literally lasts all day
The 14 pm has been amazing for me even edges out my old 13pm that’s with brighter screen aod etc I did hear great things about the plus models

I really want to get it but coming from a 12 mini, I love the lightweight and small form factor of the mini series so I am not sure if I'd be able to adjust to the huge size.
@@jawadqaisrani3244I’m in the same situation as you and I’ve been to the Apple Store and I’ve felt both the standard and plus size. The standard does feel really comfortable but I just feel the screen difference from the mini to standard isn’t enough. The plus is big and I have to juggle a little bit but I feel the plus will be a good size that I’ll appreciate overtime.
Great, I‘m really looking nearly all iPhone 15 Plus videos, despite having a 15 Pro Max. The Plus really rocks this time, when the 14 Plus was disappointing last year. been using it for a week after three years with the SE2 and let me tell you: absolute MONSTER of a battery. i was used to charging once or twice along the day, but this week only once i managed to finish the day with less than 40% - and with lots of screen on time and video calls every day. absolutely in love with this phone
Definitely feel your pain with the se2 which I had to charge 3 to 4 times a day especially if I was playing codm.
Were you starting each day with 80% or 100% battery?

As much as I want the compact 15, the battery life on the Plus is really convincing and I’m way too indecisive 😭😭
trust me you get used to the size, having less battery life is more of an inconvenience
I have a 12 mini and I love its form factor and weight but I am inclining towards a 15 plus just because of the battery life. I am not sure if I would be able to adjust to the huge size of plus. I just hope it is not as heavy as 7 plus.
I wanted the regular 15 smaller size, but battery life is the main factor for me so got the 15 plus instead! It actually can save battery health cycles when you charge it past 24 hrs and that’s what I love about the 15 Plus!📱🖤

Thanks for the video. Have you noticed the battery getting hot? That is the only thing holding me back from purchasing. I have an iPhone XS Max that still works fine. Although it's 4G LTE, I am getting fast download speeds off Verizon towers.

just got a 15 plus and it lasted like 17h 20 min of pretty heavy usage on screen over 2 1/2 days, before it hit 1%. absolutely insane

Seems the iPhone Plus batteries getting better I usually get 10 hours now 13 is very strange but not complaining, I use it for hotspot so sure I would go over 24 hours if wasn't for that
Not sure what I’m doing wrong but I’m only getting 4-5hrs of screen on time with around 4hrs of screen off time. Any thoughts?
Great review. With a regular phone it would have died around 11am doing all the navigation and stuff, and I saw your brightness was on 100% sheesh. Insane performance!

Got about 15-16 h screen on time over 2 days charging every 2 day 15 pro max. Don't know how still sending it back due to lens flares.
Definitely would've had alot more juice if he would've started it in low power mode. Low power mode definitely helps me alot.

I am having paranoids with my new ip15 plus, maybe I was expecting to have it way too much battery life well in fact it lasted the same hours in this review. I’m at peace. Lol

Hello,I have a problem with my battery.Battery decreased 3%in last 2weeks .I bought this on February 2024. Average screen on time is 5-6 hrs daily. Is this normal IPhone 15 plus
Iphone 15 256 gb or iPhone 15 plus 128 gb? What should I choose? What's more valuable? Extra storage or extra hours for battery? I have never used the full 128 gb but I don't know if it will be full with iOS updates and apps. Help

That seems low? Granted I haven’t tortured it but I did use Spotify, maps and TH-cam a bunch on my 15 plus. And I’m at 75% after 8 hours of charger. I don’t max out with screen brightness though, so maybe that’s the trick 😜
And point still stands of course. I was worried switching from the battery monster my Xperia 5 IV was but the 15+ is even more impressive!
hello how you all get that amazing review about your iphone battery lasted long? I have mine for 3weeks but the battery suxk just lasted half a day and I am not doing much into it
It is low. My iPhone 11 has 75 percent battery capacity and gives me a warning that it needs service and even mine will last this long. It’s probably because he had it full brightness so much
It may take 2 days before you find your charger

FineWoven cases sucks and transparent ones get yellow i suggest buying a customized matte finish transparent one
i suggest a dbrand transparent case they never get yellow.

Depends on your priorities. If battery is your priority, then drop 15 pro because it sucks. If you have an echo system, follow which suits it. If you are into freedom and feeling like you are the master of your tech + cheapter choices with best benefits then get S23 Ultra. If you have into social media and selfie quality etc... get 15 pro max.

You didn't 8hrs of SoT. You did around 6 hours. You must subtract more than 2hrs from the previous day's usage, it's perfectly clear and objective from the graph
That fold phone would not have lasted the same usage pattern as this iphone did for sure.

FYI ur phone didn't last 8 hours. You clearly used it before and you charged it and you can clearly see your usage at the bottom of how long you used it. You even used it while charging so it doesn't equate to 8 hours of screen on time. Just get your facts right. love you content but no it didnt last 8 hours from 100%.
if i remember my night before this trip correctly, i was running around packing and listening to music for a few hours. i didn't use it while it was charging... i was alsleep 😂 a majority of the usage came after 4am. but SURE, we can slice off some of that screen on time. but not much haha ;)

Can someone explain this... I charge the phone up to 90%. Then I close the iPhone for 5 minutes and when I open it again the battery goes to 95%.
