@@phabeondominguez5971 pretty easy really - with a camera you can only take pictures of somebody else having fun , with a pint you can have that fun yourself !
Whole country gave up on this pandemic but it hasn't given up on this country. My pint arrives Friday and I'm strongly considering sharing my progression on YT.
You should. I got mine on Monday and I'm still feeling it out. It's fun but I'm so afraid to hurt myself that I'm having a hard time relaxing and enjoying it.
Cannot stress enough how important it is to be patient... take your time chasing limits. Wear a helmet, and know most riders get their first “big” injuries in the first few hundred miles. Take that to heart. Pace yourself and DO NOT RUSH. Trust me, broke a rib in week two, (which didn’t stop me, but humbled me for sure) and haven’t had a big fall since. That said, the Pint has been the thing that kept me sane the past three months. Don’t know how I’d have done without this excuse to get out and float a bit. Dress for the slide, not for the ride.
@@tomphillips7858 for sure. I'm on day 4 and I've only gone 8 mph. But yesterday was the day I wanted to keep riding. Haven't felt that since I've had it so that's exciting.
Hey jimmy! Nice vid... I would also add riding burns calories in contrast to sitting at home playing video games/watching movies which is usually paired with snacking. Riding not only makes you stand but also forces your body to balance! Great for serotonin release after rides which improves overall mood. All from the stoke
Since getting laid off in early march I started getting serious about playing guitar. I have played for 20+ years but didn't progress after my first couple years. I also started watching your videos and was inspired to pick up a OW. That is my new Hobbie. Today will mark 21 days of owning my OW and after my next cup of coffee my 21st straight day of riding. Thanks for sharing your knowledge!!!
Really enjoyed your vid Jimmy. Totally agree with the 7 reasons to have a hobby. While waiting for my Backfire G3 electric skateboard to arrive end of next month, I’ve committed to a new hobby of traditional longboard riding. Just love carving, exploring, and learning dance/cross-steps on it. Keep riding and have fun safely 🙌🏼🏂🏄🏻♂️

Traffic is slowly coming back to NYC, and this euc, one wheel rider is excited. I enjoyed the freedom but I missed the people and dodging them safely. C all of u soon!
Hello Jimmy!! Been watching a lot of One Wheel, lately. First time I saw a Onewheel was through Peter McKinnon. Fellow XR Rider and TH-cam Content Creator. Been wanting to get a Onewheel for sometime. And I'll be getting mine sometime next week! Your tips are very well detailed. And also convinced me to get some items for my Onewheel. Like the Mini-Fangs! I'm looking forward to ride soon! So trying to educate myself with the do's and don'ts. My hobbies, well I do photography. I also do TH-cam as well. But still trying to find my niche on this platform. Oh and I went with the Onewheel+XR.
Sounds like an opening line to a song ----- "Met a guy ...... in Hill City " ... "He wasn't that old ..... nor was he pretty " and so on and so forth ........ lol
Thanks for sharing your OneWheel adventures. I really enjoy your work. Have you ever rode in Utah? Some beautiful places here that make for some fun rides.
Thanks for the video Jimmy! You should do a chainsaw carving of a Onewheel :) My biggest hobbies are remote control vehicles (air and land) and PEVs. I used to do many more sports like basketball and softball but have taken it more easy since tearing my achilles. I still play basketball and softball from time to time but have reduced the frequency quite a bit. I do more low impact cardio now and focus on weight training. I hope all is well with you and your family.
I enjoy keeping snakes as a hobby! Maybe you do too! I just bought an XR and waiting for it to come in! Was tempted to pay the 754 for priority overnight haha but couldn’t afford that . Can’t wait to get shredding soon!
Hey Jimmy, great video, agree on all points. How are you liking those fishbones? Looks like they might make dismounting a little easier? I have to get my foot like right to the edge of the board for it to finally not register both pads for a dismount and it can be a pain.
Any recommendations on a website for buying a used EUC to see if I like it? I've checked craigslist and facebook marketplace but there's nothing in my area (west florida).
