- Philippe is interested in how architecture can provide a glimpse into how people live all around the world. He travels to some of the most unique spots and culture on the planet to see what they have to offer. Today he is in Nepal’s Mustang District in the town of Lo Mantling. This walled town was founded by a Tibetan king in the late 14th century and is now totally isolated from the rest of the world high in the mountains of the Himalayas. Next Philippe makes his way to Nyaungshwe in eastern Myanmar, a small town off of Inle Lake. The Inta people were displaced here over 500 years ago due to tribal wars and now thrive in harmony with the water.

Excellent! I visited the area 30 years ago and read The Snow Leopard on my journey. It was transformative, and it changed my life. As a Forester I returned 5 more times to plant trees in the small community of Kumari, not far from the Mustang region.
Nepal is so beautiful
A simple life of down to earth( literally ) traditional survival..

love from nepal we are very glad to see this video from nepal thank you for exploration ❤
Truly fascinating video , the saying “ one has to forget or lose one’s self to find one’s self” is something that I once said years ago and sometimes life and the universe displays such impactful glimpses of higher realms that can forever change our perceptions of the world around us and it’s nearly impossible to experience those magical moments in concrete jungles and every human being deserves to experience those life altering moments .
So much to learn, So much to see, so little time..... This place is amazing. Thank you for the documentary. Would love to know how to visit...

Thank you for bringing this unique culture to us via video. What language did they speak? I understood many words, but not all. It would be nice to grow coco plants as in South American high altitude places where they drink coco tea for getting used to lack of oxygen. I am going to make some butter tea tomorrow. Thank you.
they speak nepali
Tibetan and Nepali
Love ❤👍
what about human waste and drinking water issue in Myanmar peace ? Wonderfull presentation, many thanks.

Nepal and Tibet
Always wondered what butter tea tastes like
Can some one explain
Tibetan tea (Bhote Chiya = Tea that is drunk on Tibet (Bhot in Nepal) has salt instead of sugar. Then they add Yak butter. This will not only nourish you but also keeps you warm during cold days. you may not like it when sipping for the first time but your palette will get better after every sip. You should try this.

Uncharted 2
Once upon a time, people in the remote Himalayan region lived peacefully without the tourists, especially from the far West land. Once they came, the life has changed gradually for worse. The New Age freaks are destroying the traditiinal spirit.
Way too many ads
Did u learn.
Please,no voice over! Use subs already
Hey, I really enjoyed this but could you include subtitles instead of just dubbing them over? It loses a lot of the emotions when it’s dubbed
BILLIONARE...😄😄😄😄
I visited this Lomangthang year ago i have tons of photos and video i personally felt like a martian land. Elon musk must start some robotics project hrere
Too much smiling.
The greatest threat to remote villages like this is the internet. Young people are leaving the village for "city life", lured by what they've seen online. 20 years from now places like this may not exist at all.
And how selfish are you to tell them not to leave and do as what their elders have been doing since then?
The greatest threat is global warming. These generations grew up with Internet it's not there fault that's all they've known
Extinction from plastic, pesticides and fossil fuels it is also not their fault. We gave them this.
Women are not considered “impure” in Buddhism. That’s nonsense. This isn’t Christianity. Please do everyone a favor by not applying those interpretations to a completely different culture.
wipe your feet on the way out
what a stupid mess of a world
what do you mean stupid mess?
I wanted to see the Inta's toilet and bath.🤣
That's what I'm wondering too. Or else, they'll be disposing there excrement directly to the lake like what the people of Laketown in The Hobbits movies are doing. Lol
MORE MONEY MONEY MON ASUE ! MORE MONEY MONEY MON ASUE ! ............😂 🤣 😂 🤣 😂
stop tourists and preserve the destinations
Balance is the key. If people are going to learn about cultures and not just for tik tok and making money then it's OK.
no fake covid, no tik tokers, no war drafts, a hard life and community thats works together. but most important for me a peaceful place.
But they're under threat also.
Too much garbage of goraa kind.
I'm mad because they keep talking about how few resources the people there have, yet he did not bring ANY gifts for anyone who hosted him and used THEIR resources to be kind. He couldn't even bring them some candy bars or something?? And whoever the main guy is, he needs to spend a lot less time pretending like he knows what they're saying when they're talking to him. It's over the top bad acting. Just all the way rude and obnoxious to watch his involvement
How do you know what they gave off camera? You don't. . No doubt the people were compensated and their story is told which is more important. Candy bars? Who needs candy bars you are low level thinking and part of the problem.
How do you know? He filmed and posted a small amount of the entire trip?
Kathmandu cool place
10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.
12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.
14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
is that from the bible or where did you get these?
