Longtime Apple user, switched recently from a Xs Max to a S10+ and damn its just so much better. Better screen, FAR better battery, better camera, more customisation options, i could go on all day.

@@nabeelchaudhary7973 Even the small things like being able to have the smart pop up view display on almost every app so you can watch Netflix, reply to texts or WhatsApps, watch TH-cam all while doing other things in the background is a small but amazing thing apple doesn't have. To do so Btw just go to settings, advanced features, smart pop up view then select the apps. Netflix already works fine but this enables it for messages and WhatsApp and is so useful for using while playing games etc.

Martin Luther I was tired of the simple upgrade and rising cost. iPhones are very secure and amazing phones. I will always be team apple. However the iPhone needs a complete image change. All the new iPhones look alike from the X to XR only difference is camera, screen and color. Even the 11 looks like the rest just three cameras and colors. I made a stand for myself to step away from iPhones all together.
MSG M. No lie if the iPhone really changes I probably will. However with the maximum customization I can do with Samsung that makes the user experience smoother and more personal. It will be a very hard choice to go back.
MoneyBagg Kartel Samsung has been doing an amazing job. BUT all that customization was giving me ADHD. Eventually after the hype I always end up looking for simplicity. It takes up a lot of valuable time because I’m always customizing lol. It becomes a hobby until you get burnt out looking for simplicity.

This is an excellent review in an excellent comparison I have both the S10 plus and the iPhone 11 Promax 512 and I agree they're very very close. It seems to me that the S10 plus has a wieder exposure tolerence.
I'm a real estate photographer and had been using my Sony A7 series camera for most of my interior shoots and my mavic 2 Pro for the exterior shoots, however in the last couple of months I've been using the S10 Plus for interiors with excellent results.
I work in tech and I greatly appreciate all manufactures and the amazing features they all bring to us as the consumers. If you like iphone - good, like iphone. If you like Samsung - great, like Samsung. It's pretty obvious this year Samsung took the lead, which Ive been happy with my S10+ all year, but if someone likes Apple and thats where they wanna stay - let them lol. It's their money and not your business. If they wanna spend 1100 dollars and still have to delete apps and pictures to have their phone stay usable, might as well let them. I will say tho, for the money and even tho its already almost a year old, the S10+ is like the top flagship phone for 2019 for the price and value pound for pound.
Now the galaxy s20 ultra gotten even better or I should say super cause of knowing now you can play games on Xbox 1 and also you can use a controller to play games a lote easier plus the phone has 8k 125gb 100x zoom that phone is in a hole new level and people that's using iphones most of them don't even know Samsung just gotten more serious.

I’ve been with iPhone for years and I have numerous apps and a plethora of pics and vids on my iPhone. This has absolutely no I’ll effect on the phone at all. They all load up as fast as ever with no hiccups.

I got a S10 and its awsome. Samsung DeX is really good. Its what im using right now. A usbc hub with a hdtv, wireless keyboard and mouse. Its just like using a pc. iphone doesnt have that

the difference is not about which is better on paper, it is about which cell phone remains powerful and lasts over time. In my family, 2 have iPhone and 2 have Samsung, those of us who have iPhone are as happy as the first day, those who have Samsung seek to change it because the system has become slow and the battery turns off at 9%.

Here's a humble piece of opinion for your section on reviewing camera.
It would be nice if you can review the two phones by capturing image that involves intensive text-reading. For e.g. taking a picture of the Subway map or street directory. One of the key comparisons I was really hoping was something that can help me decide which phone is better for the daily life of a Student. I'd say my most practical usage is taking pictures in my lectures or from my friend's notes.
While it is cool to see outdoor images, it may not be as practical.
Just an opinion.

I have both the platform since 2019, one for work, the other for my personal life. It's always a matter of preferences but my general perception is that Android systems are a better deals because you can buy a very decent piece of HW for less money. Apple for me is better for the user experience: all is better cured in terms of "easy and effective" to find, (almost) no bugs, no stuttering, no lags. Better privacy protection (less tracking and spams). Apple is also lacking the memory expansion possibility and in general is completely protected around external developers (pros and cons here). Another aspect to be considered, is the longevity. A new Apple HW has at least 5years of full SW updates with all functionalities and, as always a great (but expensive) customer support both virtual and physical. The choice is yours, I made mine. ;)
Heres my take on it. To start I've never owned an I phone but I currently have an s9. I feel that both are great phones, if you are talking about entry level prices they are both very similar. There was a time where I could say samsung is far cheaper but now prices are very similar. It all depends on software preference. Its android vs iOS. Also, Samsung has always been known for their screens so if that's what you like take the s10. If processor is what you are looking for take the iphone as it has a far better processor. Part of the reason is because snapdragon has a monopoly on the android phone processors in north america, so there aren't other options. Meaning android users are limited to snapdragon.

IMO the iPhone processor is very similar to Androids Snapdragon 855 and 888. In real world scenarios they both perform extremely close. Samsung usually has more storage, storage expansion, RAM and slightly better specs. The iPhone just has a higher GeekBench score which isn't really applicable to most day to day stuff.
If you really wanted to you can fond several bench scores where Android beats iOS but it's not really accurate to cherrypick

@@clone9159 it actually depends on which version of the s10 you buy. The regular s10+ is $100 cheaper as said in the video but the 5G LTE version is more pricey than the 11 pro, too bad apple doesn't even support 5G LTE.

Exynos seems way better than 855 in geekbench
it depends on your region whether u get the exynos 9820 or the Snapdragong 855 SoC

super cool review. I currently own both phones and I can testify I find myself using my s10 plus more for my everyday activities. The Iphone 11 pro max does come with that apple vibe that just is something no one can explain but overall, both phone are amazing.
PS: I agree the s10 takes better pictures, but the iphone 11 pro max camera has some pretty unique features that I'm loving
I swapped to a Samsung s10 plus last year when I had always used apple. I loved the phone and can acknowledge its chip, ram, and storage is far superior but I don't like the operating system. There is just something so annoying about it. Turning your phone to the side is a pain on the Samsung when I would of thought it would of been as simple as apple. There are so many apps off the get go to like Google photos and gallery then there are two stores and two different contactless payment options which is really annoying at times. I like both phones for there own reasons but feel apple over charges for what you get compared to Samsung which means overhal the Samsung is better for the consumer but I'm going back to apple just because I find some stuff easy. Shootout to Samsungs resolution change option I found that sick along with dolby sound option too
I have the galaxy buds which are great but if you use the auxiliary cord in your car you'll appreciate the headphone Jack
I've had the S9+ and right now have the S10+ and it's a great phone. Really liked Android for the past couple years. But I did order the iPhone 11 Pro Max for 2 reasons. Ecosystem because I just bought a new MacBook Air. And second is iMessage. I like both systems now and I think each one has its pros and cons. Really, it's like watching a cooking show. You know all the stuff is probably phenomenal but to make a show they have to bash one or the other. That's what all these reviews do. Seriously, regardless which one you but you will have an awesome phone. And other than reviewers, who is really going to "compare" them to decide if they have a good phone or not. Really, they are all great. Just pick one you like best and roll with it.
BTW everyone in comments, why do you have to bash one or the other. Why so much hate for iPhones..calling them iShits. Really? If you know phones so well, then make one or give good criticism and not vulgarity to make a point.

Love this comment! Your right so many people bash on. Iphone consistently. I get it iPhones are way to expensive. Don't get me wrong I love android for certain reasons, but I also love iPhone for certain reasons. At the end of the day it's on the consumers choice of preference and how they run their daily driver.. so I'm going to end this with #teamgalaxy & #teamIphone
