In match 4 when you cast Forsake the Worldly on their Gate to the Afterlife, they used Walking Ballista to shoot a Llanowar elf to turn it on. When the sacced the Gate to grab a GPG they didn't have to shuffle their deck because they put the one from the graveyard into play. You only have to shuffle after a gate when you search your library. So the negate that they played was the one sitting on top of the deck from the explore.
I mean it's not that expensive compared back to Dragons of Talkir where you have to pay 900 dollars just to make a T1 Abzan deck but yeah it's still is expensive.
At 49:18, there's little reason not to play a second Karn. His -1 ability reads "Put a card you own with a silver counter on it from exile into your hand.", so the second Karn can bring back cards exiled (with silver counters) by the first Karn.
[SPOILERS] I was about halfway through and about to post: "Where are all the sunderings, the title promised?". And then....well....sunderings....and Karns....in bulk. Looks like a fun deck to play too. GL on the PT dude.
Really cool deck. Taking extra turns and casting planeswalkers at instant speed? Sounds more like commander. Also, sounds like my kind of standard deck. That last game was epic. Really glad you played the fourth match. Keep on keeping on, LSV.
losing to monored in the third game was a surprise, given how slow they started and that you had answers for practically everything (2x Seal Away + Settle, w/ Authority of the Consul without which, the game is over 4 turns earlier).
Nice, but i think using teferi as pseudo-removal for chandra might not be the place you wanna be with this deck, and i still dont get why chumping with a knight should be better than sealing away
Anyone else I would have watched this and said ok whatever. LSV is my favorite to watch and now I am building this..... Only 1x Karn and a few rares aways so like $300 left to go.
Why does he keep refusing to upkeep scry with his maps when he needs to topdeck something and has more than enough mana to pay for any answer he's hoping for?
He also needed to top deck non-land cards in the last game, and he had 2 field of ruin, and no spells to cast for like 3 turns in a row as he drew basic lands. Deck-thinning is very underrated. There was also a turn where he could have used a FoR in the same game to shuffle away a gearhulk.
why were you not aggressivley making guys with karn in g1 against uw? you draw a bunch of cards, but your cards dont really win the game quickly, and you dont have relevent interaction
The 6-mana Time Walk is completely unneeded in this deck. What's the purpose in a control deck? To have a speed rush on SIX mana? That's just idiotic in my opinion. Even if the "perfect play" lines up, you never need it to win the game with this type of deck. Survive the onslaught and win with Lyra. Torrential Gearhulk would be 10x better in that deck.
Not even 1 Ixalan's Binding ? Yea I get why people choose Cast Out but come onnnn ! Binding has so much stuff going on for it too. Stop using cookie cutter builds people !
Ah - I see it's time for Budget Magic
Heeeeeeeeeeloooooooo everyone it's Luis, prooooooobably better known as LSV
Budget(less) Magic

U/W(ish you had enough money) Control
Comment of the year

Deadass LOL
"Okay, I think we've played with our food enough." lol.
Watching LSV play blue decks never ceases to amuse.

Only 8 AD breaks instead of the standard 13 per 1.5hr vid? Sweet! Thank you CFB!
Match 1, not Field of Ruin-ing because they could get a Swamp? You've Settle the Wreckage-d them twice now, I don't think their deck has basic swamps.
[SPOILERS] I was about halfway through and about to post: "Where are all the sunderings, the title promised?". And then....well....sunderings....and Karns....in bulk. Looks like a fun deck to play too. GL on the PT dude.
haven't played magic in years, but LSV always gets a click from me
In game 2, why not field of ruin so they have to shufle away the chandra?
Really cool deck. Taking extra turns and casting planeswalkers at instant speed? Sounds more like commander. Also, sounds like my kind of standard deck. That last game was epic. Really glad you played the fourth match. Keep on keeping on, LSV.
Opponent in match one had my favorite art of mountain
Ronan Kelley opponent in match One deserve to win more than lsv
losing to monored in the third game was a surprise, given how slow they started and that you had answers for practically everything (2x Seal Away + Settle, w/ Authority of the Consul without which, the game is over 4 turns earlier).
I love how the thumbnail, when you hover over it, is him just conceding XD
Why wouldn’t you field of ruin to shuffle away Chandra game 2?
Man that first game against control was brutal for them lol. Played that perfectly too.
it's what we all came here to see
They really ought to put decklists in the video description or on the CFB posting. That would be sooooooo helpful.
watch at 0.50x speed to listen to drunk LSV
match 3 game 1 was amazing. that's my favorite kind of magic to play.
M4 G2, I think they just brought back the Gift from their graveyard (meaning that they did not shuffle and did not loose their Negate)
Yeah, that's what I thought as well.
The only thing better than having a sweet durdly blue value timewalks deck in Standard,
is watching LSV having a blast playing it.
"Karn Duderino" was not something I expected to hear from LSV.
This deck could use ruinous blast. Underrated card
With this video, I have now seen god pharohs gift played in all 5 colors
U/W turns in standard makes me happy
Could the opponent have killed you in Match 1 Game 2 if he had played ballista on 5 and then shot gideon first then you?
Is it time for jaya to shine with timewalks!!
Does Karn need a leash when you walk him ?
Ive seen this problem before. LSV is very quiet hard to hear at max volume at times. Im not old am i?
CBlastoise no, he speaks very softly...probably lowest of all streamers...still awesome thou👍👍 but yeah voice is super low
Spicy Extra Turns deck in Standard? Boards the extra turn card out.
Nice, but i think using teferi as pseudo-removal for chandra might not be the place you wanna be with this deck, and i still dont get why chumping with a knight should be better than sealing away
Not a fan of urzas ruinous blast?
i love you lsv!
Dude, in what world does holding up Lyra, Settle, and Teferi does not sound good?
Anyone else I would have watched this and said ok whatever. LSV is my favorite to watch and now I am building this..... Only 1x Karn and a few rares aways so like $300 left to go.
This costs more than my budget legacy deck
I mean if youre playing dredge this deck triples the price of Vintage
No [[Oath of Teferi]] or [[Urza's Ruinous Blast]]?
Gideon emblem mvp!
Seal away has flash luis
Why does he keep refusing to upkeep scry with his maps when he needs to topdeck something and has more than enough mana to pay for any answer he's hoping for?
i kept wondering the same
Bboy9987 because it Luis and will draw wot he needs and win anyways😒😒😒
He also needed to top deck non-land cards in the last game, and he had 2 field of ruin, and no spells to cast for like 3 turns in a row as he drew basic lands. Deck-thinning is very underrated. There was also a turn where he could have used a FoR in the same game to shuffle away a gearhulk.
Can we just agree to call them Karnstructs for now?
M4G2 didn't play to your outs by not using treasure map :(
Also didn't field of ruin away the verduous gearhulk on top M4G3
Man the audio is rough
Probably recorded on the road.
Beeboobaa
Sounds like some sort of post-rock group tbh
Classic scumbag Approach opponent hoping the bug still hadn’t been fixed.
I made this deck a week after dom
Put oath of teferi in this deck man
why were you not aggressivley making guys with karn in g1 against uw? you draw a bunch of cards, but your cards dont really win the game quickly, and you dont have relevent interaction
People hate minus'ing Karn for some reason. It was only halfway through the video LSV realized he could make big ones with Treasure Map
27 mins u missed a free attack with a knight token
Karnagie hall
Uuu I'd try this in magic arena . Too poor even there
no one respects the Gideon emblem QQ
bad beat on the Negate x 2 off the top
mono red really is the worst
This deck is ridiculous, ridiculously expensive....
Allofyourdollars.std
This looks awesome.

Lsv running thru noobies
