Cute! If you paint the design on the back with brown paint or stain instead of sharpie it would look so authentic. What a wonderful Christmas ornament this would be!

The second one looks like a sitar.

I liked all three lutes. The second lute looked pretty good. I personally liked the thick neck... or handle on it. The third one looked pretty good as well. They look just like lutes from the 1800s.
