Yes, it is entirely made out of cardboard, except from the thin strip of wood for the fretboard and the tail piece at the bottom to attach the strings :) You could also use a plastic ruler or any other hard and flexible material as well for these parts.
@@undrscoremusic you could surely use the plastic Bic crystal pen. It has also a hexagonal form which can help to keep the strings tuned. We wouldn't recommend anything with a rounded tubular form as it would easily 'slip out' of position. If we think of something else we would let you know :)
@@undrscoremusic We have recently used bamboo straw for the pegs, similar diameter to a pencil. It works as good and it looks quite nice. Just make sure that the part which will be inserted in to carefully 'peel' off the 'shiny' surface of the bamboo (which is very slippery) giving a 'polygonal' shape, like a hexagon more or less.
hi there, thanks for showing me how to make the guitar! ,it was a school project 😢
This is amazing I love the music too
It's amazing! Paper will can Instruments!!
well now ive gotta build one
is it possible to get all parameters for guitar? and all. materials need? 👋🙏
Hello ! What material did you use for the strings ? Love this work by the way !
Hello! Thank you for you nice words. We used nylon fishing line: 05mm, 04mm and 03mm for each string accordingly.
Best wishes 🙏🙏🙏🙏😅
reminds me of a lute!
Is there gonna a video showing how it done?
Also very good! Gonna check if you done any more :)
Thank you! We are planning on that, we hope to get on it soon :)
In Bosnia say's šargija 🎸😋🤗😉👍
what's the tuning?
That looks closer to a makeshift bouzouki in my opinion..
Yes, it's closer to the lute family instruments but with a flat sound box like a guitar.
Was this awesome fretless guitar oud thing entirely made out of cardboard? Not including the strings and the tuning pegs

diatehnon arts & culture thanks for the info! I’m curious if it fas bracing or not. It sounds like a professionally made lute that would have bracing!
@@aWildJosh213you are welcome! No it does not have bracing. But for sure it is something to elaborate on :)
How did u make the tuning pegs
Hexagonal pencils (so that they can 'lock in' ) with a hole drilled for the string (fishing line)
@@diatehnonartsculture1479 thank you for the information

Yes, well observed, unintentionally it has a very similar sound to a shamisen.

Show us how to make it.... Or send to me in my fb account.... Please
We need to prepare a video for that. You can still figure it out if you slowly and closely observe the video :)
