The S21 Ultra I got a few weeks ago is so damn good. Display is gorgeous, cameras are dope, performance is super snappy and the battery life feels so good coming from my LG G7 which is still kicking but the battery life has been pretty bad and the buttons are falling out lol. Still my go to for listening to music though with that sweet quad dac.
I'm still rocking my NOTE 20 Ultra. I have the 512 gb version with a 1 tb micro SD card inside. It's just too hard for me to give that up. I hope Samsung will bring the micro SD card expansion back. As always, great video! Most youtubers do not cover older phones. There are some of us that do hold onto our phones longer than others. I personally do not think that any of the manufacturers are developing interesting smart phones. I see no need to upgrade my Note 20 ultra. I also have an iPhone 13 pro max with the 1 tb version. The iPhone 14 and 15 does not impress me. I see no need to upgrade my iPhone as well. Keep up the great work that you are doing with this channel. I've had the S21 FE (US version) since a little after it's launch date, and I'm happy with it still.
It's still snappy, the battery life is decent and the camera does what I need quite well.

Personally I haven’t had any phones with a bad battery…but you can always get them replace for very cheap.

I have the note 10+ mint condition still.looks great today 1440p 12gb ram but has you said no further updates don't really want to get rid of it I have anti virus installed too think Samsung should have supports this longer as the lite version has longer support , I have fold 4 too.

Warning for LG phones, I used to have a v35, which i loved, and would've updated to v60, but LG phones have issues with signal/reception due to the bands that its supported by. It got pretty bad to the point that I wouldn't get reception at my house, so it was a 50/50 on whether I could send/receive calls.
Issue went away when i changed to Samsung Phone.
Since LG no longer makes phones, i hear this is becoming a more commonplace issue.

I miss LG. Had many G series phones before having every V series except the V35 and V50. Tried to throw my sim into the V40 last night for old times sake but it’s locked to AT&T and I have TMobile now. Wish they’d gotten to make a V70 before they stopped making phones.

Really most phones from 3 or 4 years ago are still good to great. Camera quality is very unnoticeable. For basic everyday task most of them are the same. If buying these "older" flagship, just make sure the battery is new or almost new. Also make sure the cell antennas are compatible with the cellular band for 5g and ultrawide 5g. I don't want a phone that can't run the benefit of ultrawide 5g.
is the galaxy s20 ultra still having camera focusing issue in 2023?
I have a Samsung S20 FE, I needed another smartphone so I got a refurfished Note 10+. And wow! now it is my main phone and the S20 FE is the secondary one the experience is just better and the S20 FE is a good phone.
note10plus and up are the most stable
I think unbeatable for the price right now is the ZFlip4. I know it has its drawbacks, but it has its strengths as well. I dunno anywhere else you can get an 8 Gen 1 for around $200. Flip 5 is down to 450-500 as well. Battery can be an issue sure, but still. Video idea hopefully. I just ordered one to mess with. Fold4s are 5-600 right now as well. Love my Fold4.

Used to be old flagship was the better deal, but nowdays with longer software support and carrier deals i think midrange is best. For instance i just picked up a brand new S23 FE for $49 total. And I'd put its performance right up there with any phone you showcased. And its gonna have a much longer life than a V60 or S20 FE.
@ChillydontCap: You're totally right in a way, because that phone just about, not to long ago came OFF OF THE "PRINTING PRESS"!!! My Goodness, why shouldn't the performance be GREAT!!! But, Matthew had a bevy of beautiful made phones, stylish wise and otherwise!!! If SAMSUNG WAS "FOR REAL" in its updates, with the S9'S thru The S22's and they really tweaked the cameras on those models ,to be even better, without all those other gimmicks they put in these updates, you couldn't get anyone to budge from those MODEL PHONES esp. WITH SD CARDS!!!! Not one!!! Esp.with the designs on the S21 ULTRA,S22PLUS,S22S20 ULTRA& NOTE 20 PLUS & the 21PLUS ETC,ETC.!!! Even the S9 plus is a beauty in black!!!!! No. The apps still work great. I upgraded from an S20 Ultra to an S24 Ultra. My S20's apps worked just fine. My husband has my old phone now (upgraded from an A53), and he's doing fine and really likes it.

If you going to play some games and start bit havy work and thing don't recommend at all. New exynos chip worst for gaming and hvy task. Normal casual media consumption and daily drive good.

I don't know is that asian thing only or had around world. S20 series note 10 /20 s21 s10 all this series start getting green line issue out of no where. Some got without even do nothing and some got after updates. Even some use snapdragon versions ( euro or us) that's massive red flag. So I skip those all models and got a52s as my secondary and gaming phone and my main daily drive is iphone 12.
It's mostly the s20 and note 20 series. Basically the phones that released in 2020. S21 and onwards is fine no green line

samsungs quality and longevity is superb.
Only bad side is side is their software support for older phones.
For example the s10, s20 series is still capable phones but doesn't got any major update now.
