This is fantastic! My dad was a jazz guitarists. This style of music is infectious, no matter where in the world it's heard, people are taken by it and want to learn it!
Amazing! No one talked or clinked glasses or got up and danced around like idiots. They listened to these performers with respect and showed their approval. Hard to find this in small venues or concerts in this country. Great job guys.

@@cburgess2805 true. But they still play the head incorrectly. As you imply there aren’t too many rules in Jazz - but playing the melody that the composer wrote properly at least once just might be one of them. Kind of an homage to the originators of the song. Or not! “After you’ve gone” is such a standard and a kind of perfect melody that To my ear it makes it hard to listen to.
Stock heads are usually a bit plain and boring on guitar (acoustically it won't sustain) and more suited for horns or violin, so we embellish it. I always take liberties, especially on the B section. So long as it is recognizable.@@stronz3669
I prefer it plugged in. If you’re going to play acoustic just get a Martin
