    Thanks for sharing this new machine. WOW, how high tech can we get. The digital world is totally amazing and I do think it good to still know the machine(s) in their 'maiden' form as well. Thanks again as this a remarkable unit! DIRT PERFECT tried out a DOZER on a factory tour with the same features. It's unreal and JAMES, you're in at the exact right time! Thanks guys and keep us posted! Sonny

    I just wanted to say I've been waiting for over a year to see one of these machines in action and was relatively hoping my boss would get one for our place. I work at a trash and recycling place,. Where I am the Supervisor of the Transfer station. We are currently using an M 314 wheeled excavator. And it sucks having to put down the dam outriggers every time I need to do any actual moving of material. It has a fantastic thumb. I just wished that the bucket had a better out curl on it. And the thumb as you had mentioned, doesn't go all the way out with the bucket. And the bucket only being able to go flat straight is it's limit. Sucks. My boss had to put the pneumatic tires on it since I gave it it's first flat being used in trash with debri environment. The first mention of getting a new excavator was suppose to be a rubber track one with the tight radius for small areas like we have. I would love to see this machine being used at our place. Especially having low beams for rafters for the roof. Being able to set the ceiling height with the fence control would be a game changer and less accidental hits to it. 😉

    king to get a bigger machine that I can still tow with my 25 ton trailer. What’s everyone’s opinion on the 317? I have a Volvo 145 right now and think it would go well with a 317. I’ve been hearing mixed reviews on it unfortunately.

    • @DirtBrute
      @DirtBrute  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I loved it and he had it for 2 years with absolutely no problems. He just sold it to our friend and he also loves it . The only reason he sold it is he Landed some big commercial jobs and wanted a 325 ! I personally think he should have kept the 317 but if he needs to he can borrow it from our friend . Thanks for watching!

    What made you choose the 317 over a 315 or a 320?

    • @DirtBrute
      @DirtBrute  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It’s the biggest machine he could get for the work he had lined up that will still fit on a tag trailer. Plus I think at the time the 315 didn’t have the 2d grade control. Not sure

  • @Alasdairryan

    Nice machine, I would of specced a tilt bucket myself, It would be nice if you could speak to your komatsu dealer and see if they would let you try out one of the intelligent machines, it would be a nice comparison. I think its just Komatsu and Cat which leading the in built grade control systems?

    nice machine for sure, so how does james move it around, ain’t tugging that around with a single axle pete?

    • @DirtBrute
      @DirtBrute  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Right now he’s paying a low bed to move it. We were doing the math on its weight and my big 21 ton could probably do it but we have to figure out what the trailer weighs first. I probably won’t do it though because it would be completely maxed out! Plus they’re not charging him a lot to move it so it just makes sense to have them do it right now

    • @njonebale7889
      @njonebale7889 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    • @njonebale7889
      @njonebale7889 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      if you know how to run an excavator you can just chuck dirt under your tracks to level up, blade is nice, but they don’t put them on the bigger machines because it adds too much weight.
