I didn't realize that the mic input had a little indexing cut out in it that needs to align with the headset. I aligned it up, inserted it all the way, and bam! Audio works now! Thank you!

My problem was the exact opposite, I was able to speak to my friends, but I could hear any audio and this has been happening for a long time, as to fix it I just unplug and plug it back in but it cuts out all the time

Got the same headsets but mt issue isn't this one per say, it is but the problem is at the tip whete it connects to controller, wire inside might be damage because when i move it the audio i speak comes and goes.

Look in the head phone thing where you plug the mic in and there should be a bump line it up with the little thing on the mic pieces

Hey yo guys If you have problem with your mic then make sure that the mic is connected very well to the headset and if you heard it clicked two times than it’s fully connected and btw there is a minus on the down side of the headset were you connect the mic

Well I fixed it mine was for computer I plugged the whole wire of 2 and then took them off then put a black wire on blowed my mic pressed my mic button and there we go.

I had the same problem where I could hear everyone but they couldn’t hear me in the party so what I did was I disconnected the mic from the controller and disconnected the speaker thing from the headset and then I made sure I put the speaker on right because I was putting it in but not all the way, then I plugged it into my controller and it worked.
