@@CrystalTheErudite That's actually a very great analogy. Flame Runner and Mach Bike are Fox and Falco, with a few other vehicles being usable but clearly not on the same tier (the majority of inside drift bikes), just like melee (Marth, Peach, Falcon), and then literally everything else is trash

Your sherbet time for the first lap (shroomless) was 42.823 while a former world record first lap was 42.583. So yes, you had an amazing first lap for time trial standards with the phantom menace :)
Edit: For perspective, you enter the cave at around 19.1 and WR enters the cave around 18.5 so you actually gain time in the cave and after just before the line.

Weird, I guess stand-still mini-turbos don't actually count as mini-turbos, lol.
The mini turbo stat only affects the length of the mini turbo you get from drifting. The ssmt is always 30 frames on all vehicles.

this is really interesting, if all vehicles could be modified in some different way to hang with the mach bike and flame runner, it could make for some competitive parity
I've thought the same thing for a while, would make for good videos too testing each new vehicle out too

They would have to be modified in more complicated ways that encourage different play styles, otherwise people would learn quickly the best bike for each map.
I guess every vehicle in mkwii has its better stat and only that one should be increased significantly higher

It’s a good bike. I’ve used it a few times and it feels right, I’d advise people to use it more often.

Phantom has one of the worst drifts so it's easy to snake. Also, orange Mini-Turbos takes time to charge, so it would be better to get a normal Mini-Turbo since it's max.

Not really. That was the highest stat of each vehicle in one. Not the highest stat allowed by the game
