    I sense you're beginning to have some fun, like the Nick I used to know, love it. Keep em coming

      These are fun, and it’s nice getting more reps in on the lanes.

    Another great ball review. This ball looks damn good.

    I just got this ball on Wednesday along with a hammer purple solid reactive. It had its first league run last night. It gave me practice and just over a game of league play before I had to switch to my C300 Top Speed to finish out the night. I may change the surface to a 2000 sanded finish to differentiate it from the Top Speed as a see a similar motion in both.

      Worth a shot! 👍🏻

    This ball was the one I just threw my first 300 with, on just the 5th game with it too! It lays out so perfectly for my style of bowling (quick two-hander with ~450rpm)

      Right now mine is The One Remix. Threw it all today for the most part and cashed in a local tournament. All time it’s either that or The Mission which I hope is updated very soon…

    Another great review Nick, why do you have such unique drillings, super high pin above fingers. I really have a difficult time staying under and behind the ball utilizing the strong part of my hand. I don't believe I've ever had a ball drilled properly for me.

    • @rb8999
      @rb8999 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The pin ends up where it does due to the layout numbers with his positive axis point coordinates.
      In regards to your fit, it's tough to say without someone seeing you in person. If your current grip is comfortable, some people like to go with a little bit of forward pitch in their thumb (or less reverse pitch if you have it) to hold on to the ball better. Sometimes, slightly shortening the span is also needed depending on the amount of pitch change.
      I actually just had to make some changes like this myself recently.

      I’d say the higher pins are much more common nowadays. Used them with success for a long time, 20° VAL’s tend to give me the most down lane recovery possible. I can control overhooking, and have more issues creating hook on slicker patterns.

    Hey Nick! I know this comment is off-topic of the video, but I digress. Currently my break down ball is a Bigfoot. I am struggling with it rolling forward, and as I have looked around I seem to not be alone. What would you recommend for a change? I was looking at the GB4 hybrid. Mostly just want something more continuous that won't see the friction so early like the ball I start with, which is normally a knockout or a prism hybrid. I would like to stay in a symmetrical core.

    • @brunsnick
      @brunsnick  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      GB4 Hybrid is a good choice. Depending how much friction you see, Tundra Fire might be even cleaner and more when they burn up.

    The 2nd strike looked better than the 1st!
    When you miss in, it looks really good!!!

    Nick, are you able to or would you be willing to throw a Hammer 3D offset attack. I searched your channel but didn’t find it 😅

    • @brunsnick
      @brunsnick  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Maybe. Will see. Kind of cherry picking older balls until new ones come out in the future. 👍🏻

  • @BARBELLS-AND-BUDS
    @BARBELLS-AND-BUDS ปีที่แล้ว

    I was considering buying one and then I saw the ball reaction and the first couple of rolls and I was ehhh, but a light scuff of 2000 left table to move in 5 or 10 boards and still have more reaction than you did earlier.
    Plus the ball looks pretty damn good visually as well

    • @brunsnick
      @brunsnick  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I would use this ball with surface all day, probably a lot more than 2000 so I could throw it harder at Nationals.

      @@brunsnick Looking at the mindset, innovator, archetype and the one is hard to decide which to get.
      I'm a 2 handed house shot and league bowling 14.5-16.5mph depending on how i feel and how lanes are hooking

    • @brunsnick
      @brunsnick  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Is that mph from the scoring monitors? If so, that’s measured at the pins so add about 3mph off your hand.

    • @BARBELLS-AND-BUDS
      @BARBELLS-AND-BUDS ปีที่แล้ว

      @@brunsnick Yeah the only way I have measured my speed is just by what it says on the scoring machine.
      What's weird is some days I try to increase my ball speed by moving my feet faster and it's not faster and some days I just walk up there and my ball speeds faster than the days I tried to increase it.
      I think just comes down to being old and stiff 😂
      When you watch a televised tournament and they show the ball speed, are they showing at the pins also?

    • @brunsnick
      @brunsnick  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@BARBELLS-AND-BUDS no, they have a full lane tracker so they will take their ball speed off their hand. That’s the true ball speed that should be considered.

    They going to release a new One with some HK22? That seems like a no brainer and would be first in like for that One.

    Great Review, I had the old Real One and it made me money consistently. How does it compare to the DV8 Trouble Maker?

    • @brunsnick
      @brunsnick  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I saw the Trouble Maker more rolly and smooth compared to The One Remix. The One had more backend reaction, especially when opening up angles.

  • @erikroy1425
    @erikroy1425 ปีที่แล้ว

    When a ball has such a low RG how does it retain enough energy to be flippy on the backend?

    • @brunsnick
      @brunsnick  ปีที่แล้ว

      Cover strength mostly. Less energy will bleed off with cleaner covers allowing more flip.
