@@ashtonwiseneske9888you should definitely try the bobby shew mouthpiece, same size as a 5b but more shallower and gets your high notes out, but your sound is amazing so it'll make it even smoother
@@ezraisboki9761 I own one, and personally I don’t like it. It might be because I have never spent enough time on the mouthpiece to actually get good on it, but every time I play it I feel like it is too shallow to do anything technical and after a little bit of playing I lose the embouchure strength to keep my lips out of the shallow cup.
@@ashtonwiseneske9888 omg that's so different, I never knew that it could be a thing where it's "too shallow" but what other mouthpieces do you have cause now I'm interested
@@ezraisboki9761 yes it is a little too shallow for me lol. I own a 16C4, 11b4, 11b4GP, 3c, 3e, Dennis Wick Heritage GP 1c, Bobby Shew Lead, and I began trumpet playing on a 5c. I got the 16C4 with my Xeno that I purchased going into sophomore year, the 11b4 for myself a while after that, the 11b4GP for myself a while after the 11b4 (big mistake), 3c was given to me my freshman year, 3e I purchased specifically for the drum corps season in the middle of my junior year, heritage I purchased sometime in my sophomore year I think it’s basically a toilet bowl, shew lead I purchased when I got into lead playing going into my sophomore year, and the 5c came with my beginner horn in 6th grade.
What mouthpiece do you use?
@@ezraisboki9761 I was on a Bach 3e
