In 1979, Pittsburgh in a 4 game stretch, completely dominated Denver 42-7, Dallas 14-3, Washington 38-7, and Kansas City 30-3. In those 16 quarters of play, the Steelers defense allowed a total of 20 points. Over the next 17 quarters(overtime vs Cleveland), the defense allowed 102 points. @ San Diego L 7-35 vs Cincinnati W 37-17 vs Cleveland W 33-30 OT @ Houston L 17-20
A true Pittsburgh Steelers fan Keith Clark, and I liked The Steelers back in them years as well mainly because they would avenge the Philadelphia Eagles losing to the Dallas cowboys and they were a very colorful team
Awww, you gave away the score with the added comment. I have to remember not to read them. One of the few games in 78and 79 the Stealers did not need the Rooney Batphone to the league.
Don't forget that 1st catch by Swan one handed!!!!! They truly were super
1:00
A prime example Lynn Swann's superior agility and ability. This catch is rarely if ever referenced.

It’s the reason why the Steelers team won 14 playoff games in 8 years . When the Defense was down offense picked them up and vise versa .
Injuries started to pile up on defense during that stretch.
At 5:14 Lynn Swann makes an amazing touchdown.
The greatest ever don criqui
When QB did drop back pass with back pedal
At that time I was a diehard Steelers fan but in '89 I became a all but loving chief fan, chiefs was horrible back then!!!
What's the deal with Pittsburgh playing Kansas City every year between 1978-1982?
They tried to have all nfc and afc teams play each other as much as possible back then.
There was another run where they played every year from like 2015-2019.
A beatdown
As I was saying, the Steelers turned the ball over way too much
Steelers win 30 - 3 over KC 🏈
