This is a video from my personal archives that was shot when I first started working for Josh and Kenny as their bass player. I decided that these need to be seen and appreciated by their many fans across the world. I was blessed to have Josh as my mentor and dobro teacher during our travels and he will always be the man who brought the dobro to the forefront of bluegrass music.This segment features Foggy Mt boy Curly Seckler who dropped by to visit and sing some with us. What a great group, those three had seen a lot of blacktop and gravel roads in their time. It always amazes me how great musicians can just come up with the right licks at the right time even though they may not have played the tune in decades. The whole band was great, thank you for sharing this with us all.
