Nothing means nothing... a paradox, a riddle, and a distant sign that we were willing to throw the anchors of tradition to the storm... Three decades later and we're still staring at the horizon, waiting for the shipwreck.
Those of us who grew up to this when it was new and still listen to it today are in our 40s and 50s now. Songs like this can really take you back and forget all the sh*t going on today, even for a moment.
A shame he isn't brought up in the same conversations as Staley, Eddie V, Cornell, etc... I think he is in that tier. He doesn't miss. Consistent sound
While homeless this song took on an entire new meaning to me. My prayers were for the Lord to cover me in a shroud of protection. Instantly this song came to mind. I listened and I "heard". ❤️🙏🏻❤️
Funny how this Gaaaaawd of yours came to your beck and call but has stood by idly during every child rape throughout all of history. Or were those kids just not pure in their faith like you?
Cover me is so deep of a song , it spins you round and down to places most don’t want to go but then gives the deliverance of shelter from the storm which we all could use ! Cover me traverses space and time but leads you back to the refuge of divinity ! Priceless ❤

Aaaa this is so good. His voice is still so goood. Nothing beats the 90s, never will. Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam, Tool, Soundgarden, Nirvana, Audioslave, Candlebox... Oh the list goes on.
Thought I was one of the only people who ever liked candle box. Lol I mean to be fair they were up against AIC feel like that's the only reason they weren't more popular
God I miss the music of the 90's. It had so much meaning.
Purposely being dumbed down. I agree. Same with late 80s thrash.

Me too
Music stopped being music after the 90's. This is was and will probably be one of my favorite groups forever.
Kevin Martin is one of the few singers from that era whose voice is still intact and nails it every time.
A shame he isn't brought up in the same conversations as Staley, Eddie V, Cornell, etc...

@@danielschnapp6737I hear ya but Layne Staley is in a class by himself. Head and shoulders above the other names you mentioned.
A couple years ago I actually listened to the full album and found this gem. What an amazing song to stumble upon after all these years.
Classic song from my glory days of good music. Miss bands and music like this!
Nailed it. Such an incredible song.

Fucking awesome! I love this song so much, I just learned it on my guitar a few days ago. And this video still has zero dislikes! Very well deserved.

Their debut album is asc good as Dirt and Facelift in my opinion. Listen to all 3 regularly
I’ve. Been. Branded. A. Broken. Man.
Jesus. Kevin Martin is unbeatable in this video
Courtney Love used her all 4 accounts to dislike !
Courtney is too busy with downvoting every Dave Grohl video possible
Your UNDER me.....😂
Guitar is out of tune somewhere. It’s driving me crazy.
I think they’re tuned down 1/2 step but don’t hold me to that. I was trying to figure it out too.
@@Itsjustjess352 definitely tuned down a half step
I wanted to sing like this cat so bad.
