That is a good point you made about grinding fuel as early as possible. A new player/account will have lots of victories / easy matches in the main right at the start of the game. First thing I would buy/craft if I ever started again, would be the large blue fuel barrel. Hoover that fuel really early on!
Decent video, however what you should do is make a 'channel' that runs the length of your vehicle - which means that the frames are also protecting the fuel barrel. Doing it this way allows you to put both barrels length-ways (should you choose to have both on the build). It also means that you only really need to protect 1 'wield points' worth of the barrel(s) sticking out which is much easier. But you are on the right path however, your way is decent too - I would have used the bumpers at the top tho as that way it protects your frame AND your barrel and the smaller structure parts covering the bottom. All a new player is really trying to do is make sure that players cannot directly target the barrels (ie that they are visible in any way). I find the main problem with barrels is the devs changing the weight and powerscore - so it is 280 kgs weight and 420PS to add both to your build! Keep up the good work mate.
By experience, the best way to win pretty much all the time is to build a 3900 ps dual ac43 vehicle with scope on it. You can shave guns and canons from across the map and low ps players usually don't know how to deal with snipers. I'd say I have a 90% win rate with this kind of build.
A lot of players will shoot that off the bottom so build it into your ride and use armor once your big enough so you don't lose it and if you flip that gives fast access to that barrel so yeah
Sounds like a silly question, but I've only had get the scrap mission open forever. How do I get the others open as well? Thought it was a level thing, but in your beginners guide you have them at level 5.
Party online with five friends or you're never getting through any battle with an intact vehicle. It's as if the griefers from grand theft auto took over gaijin. They destroyed not just g.t.a. they got rockstar boycotted. Jus sayin'. It's not right, I'm fighting with all I got and I'm abnormally tactical. If I'm losing 100% of PvP you're bullying your customers. Rock star must have stock in Crossout and war thunder honestly. Both are a task to play. My friends I get to play Crossout have all quietly ignored me trying to bring them back. And they play teams, we play as a team and its still David (me)vs.goliath (anyone on the other team. I don't like when my own team has three cars wiping the map. T.p.k. is bullshit. Every match....something needs changing. As a free to play starter the parts I have are actually far lesser. I've tested that theory. Your noobs are paying all hell trying to enjoy a game where building a 10k powerscore car that qualifies for matches at 1750? At least force those players to suffer somehow. When the are rocking all combination resistance parts vs. Starter trucks with their first whites...that's not smart it's not talent it's bullying. You're promoting power abuse and those players are mocking and abusive in how they behave. Ask rock star, because their going to release GTA 6 and it's going to sell fewer copies. We do this for fun. Not because of some fetish for objective humiliation.

i use apc strike plates.. they are better than van ramps. more durability for same power score 4 power score.
