The cupcakes and other stuff in that room are not the only clues in the building....something happened at the very first faz bear's pizza. All of the games in the fnaf franchise have hidden clues about the story in them. I'll let you discover the story on your own (If you haven't already) but I will tell you 2 things.
#1: Kids, the animatronics, and the purple man are at the center of It.
And #2: Freddy, Foxxy, Bonny, Chica, Mangle (Funtime Foxxy), etc. All of the animatronics harbor spirits of kids while Golden Freddy harbors the spirit of the purple man himself.
