- Israeli journalist sparks fury after publishing a video of himself sneaking into Saudi Arabia's Mecca which is the holiest city of Islam and non-muslims are not allowed inside. Gil Tamary who works for Israel's Channel 13 posted a video from Mecca on twitter, drawing angry reactions. Remember, Saudi Arabia does not recognise Israel as it seeks a separate state for Palestinians. However, several Israeli journalists who hold foreign passports were nonetheless able to visit Saudi Arabia both before and during US President Joe Biden's tour of the middle east last week. You should read the inter marriage laws in gulf countries. Marriage of a muslim woman outside her faith is not even allowed.
