    Best thing about Gobsprakk is whenever i unbind a spell i can scream "Mork Sez No!" and cackle like a maniak.
    i mean, Belkaor killing himself because Mork sez No! is just awesome.

    Would love for a short story about Gobsprakk and Skragrott the Loonking. I just feel like they would have a really interesting conversation lol

    While I know it's not all too relevant, Gobsprakk's voice in the reveal is amazing in my opinion. The fact it isn't loud, but controlled, is terrifying for a greenskin somehow.

    I wonder if his staff with the hand of a lord of change has gained him the attention of Tzeentch? I mean he sounds like he actually has a plan for the world and change is one of Tzeentchs domains, not to mention he is able to speak every language and has the power of precise prophecy. Maybe the hand doesn’t dissipate into the warp because it’s a way for Tzeentch to just as planned and throw this agent of change a bone from time to time

    you know, in gobsprakks trailer, the orc outright says he is manipulating them. Not Kragnos, but the orc clans, because he says they'll do whatever HE says that kragnos says.

  • @mikethomas9794

    I want gordrakk to kill kragnos and ascend to a morathi, archeon or Kairos level power on the table. Kragnos can't even stomp a few lizards.

    If I'll come to Tzeentch I will remove a hand from my Lord of Change and make him a spiteful rival to the Mouth of Mork.
    Ah I like the Kruelboyz. They are the freshest take on Warhammer Greenskins I have ever seen in all of GWs IPs

      @Kendricklamarglazer17 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah
      Weirdly though despite being the main enemy in the box sets right now they still feel ignored and are missing certain needed unit types like cavalry and heavy infantry

    • @hangebza6625
      @hangebza6625 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Kendricklamarglazer17 oh yes this is sadly true. But missing units like Murknob warriors or Gnashtoof riders aside, there are some lot of some units that feel a bit out of place at the moment. Take gutrippaz for example. They are supposed to be dirty guerilla warriors attacking from unforseen positions and scaring the enemy.
      But they have no ambush abilities, are as slow as stormcast despite no armour, have worse attack stats than clan rats (but are more expensive), have not enough save or leadership to be a holding unit etc.pp.
      They are currebtly not good at anything, but more expensive than alternatives for other factions.
      Same applies to the faction abilities. The only good thing are their poisinoed weapon and being invisble if further than 12" away with the correct subfaction. The other ones are kinda worthless. Especially the dirty tricks, where you have to pray to the random number good that you even get some in the first place.

    Kruleboyz are a breath of fresh air for Greenskins. Big dumb orks and utterly insane goblins are fun, but this is the first time greenskins have felt... legitimate, I guess is the word. Death and Chaos have always felt like true rivals to Order, while Destruction has felt like an obstacle. A powerful one, sure, and it's not that they never did anything cool, but now it feels like they have character. Gobsprakk feels for all the world like a crime boss, and a good one at that. He's a lowlife scumbag and he's not well educated, but he is *smart*, at least in all the ways he has to be. It really is like it says on the tin: kunninly brutal.

    Mine just arrive in the mail!!!!! I can't wait to start painting him but also I'm a bit intimidated- this will be the largest model I've ever had that I get to paint. And I thought my old-school orc boss on a war wyvern was a challenge..

  • @jaratt85

    With them basically being hobgoblins, I can't wait for the Khadron Overlords or Fyreslayers (or both together?) to get the great idea that to defeat such dangerous greenskins they need a more powerful greenskin that they can bend to their will and make new Black Orcs. It'd be hilarious to see the "those that forget the past are doomed to repeat it's mistakes" thing in action in this game. It'd also be cool to see some dwarves find a new darker power in one of the realms and have a new race of not "chaos" dwarfs but Dark Dwarfs. The old Chaos Dwarfs were popular but never lived up to what they could've been had they actually been chaotic dwarfs or given fully to a different dark power and given more types of troops.. but then in the early 90's not many armies actually had a good variety of troop types.. besides Empire and Orcs & Goblins, Skaven and Undead. Everyone else were actually pretty limited.

    Definitely one of my favorite models both esthetically and lose wise. It's really too bad he isn't as powerful on the board as he's claimed to be.
    He really should have his 3D6 unbind be once per turn and warmaster. I don't see why that was so difficult to implement from GW. It's not even game breaking in any way. It's a nice little tech unit that can give an edge agaisnt other magic heavy armies.

    I think you mentioned that Gobby can cast foot of Gork. Im new to 3.0. How would he be able to do that? Can he pick spells from any spell lore in the faktion book including the universal spells in the corebook?

    I wonder if gobbsprak 'mistranslates' stuff Kragnos says for his own benefit. Probably right?
    Also, what happened to Stinkmullet, anyone knows that? I just read that Gobsprakk has his stuff, but not how he got it or something

    Not really a fan of the whole "taking your environment with you" thing many factions do in AoS (could call it the 'hermit crab' trope) - it's rather overdone at this point.
    Idoneth do it with their summoned Aethersea.
    Beastclaw raiders with the curse of the Everwinter.
    Skaven do it with gnawholes, which tunnel through reality.
    It's great for doing your own thing and justifying narrative, but it feels like a really broad-brush, unsubtle way to excuse what would sometimes otherwise look like contrivances. It's the same reason why the deus ex machina and mary sue tropes are unpalatable - it's often too forced and too easy. Also, it's a bit circular and shallow - the faction is a product of it's environment, yet it takes it's environment with it so there's not much in the way of consequences to it's adaption/lack thereof.
    It feels like GW has gone from one extreme to the other, reacting against WFB's rather static faction placements, which is also implicit in the idea of "everything is found in every realm because the realms are so big".
    TL;DR: The 'hermit crab trope' is a somewhat low-effort form of worldbuilding.

      I'm not so at home with aos lore, but I don't get it why couldn't they just say that the Krulboyz adopted to every environment?
