When you see the affront to the senses that is the new Ford Puma, the timeless comeliness of the original, especially in its Racing Puma form, is all the more appreciated. Why couldn't they have just slightly updated the original design and made it with better quality materials and modern tech, instead of unleashing a soulless, perfunctory eyesore?
Still a very pretty car! No doubt the huge price increase was due to all those bespoke panels, which meant the engine with only 20bhp more seemed a bit of a letdown at the price. Still a nice car but, for the money they were asking you could get way, way faster (and more practical) cars. Still, its rarity alone gives it some appeal. And it looks better than anything Ford makes today.
The OP is correct even here in the states we know all about the fast euro fords but the ford taxing puma, never even got a mention here in the states. Great example of bean counters holding back a car
😂 It is a classic highly sought after and for many years it has sold for virtually the same cost as new, in 2022-23 the FRP will sell for £14,000-£16,0000 plus and not require low mileage at all to achieve it.
