Long time carpenters should be very happy knowing there are young men like this entering the field. Takes pride in his work, takes pride in his builder, takes pride in the finished product, and goes the extra mile to always do the right thing.
Whether he knows it or not, his supervisors notice that stuff. Heck of a young man!

I really enjoyed this video! My dad's a custom builder so I do this type of stuff all the time. Punch list and clean up and project management. It's cool to see how other builders handle problems and prepare for things.

I'm an old carpenter in Maine. My first job out of high school in 1975, was working for a general contractor. We did it all and most of the time, the same workers that put in the footing and foundation did it all from foundation to capping the roof. We built the cabinets, installed the wood floors, hung the doors and most everything else. The electricians, plumbers and heating guys did their thing themselves. It was a great experience. Most of my career was doing remodeling, both residential and commercial.
I'm retired now and I still do some work when I want to on a job that interests me.
I was 19 years old when I started. I weighed 135 pounds at 6 feet tall. I was the kid that carried the shingles up a 40' ladder to the "old guys" on the roof. Oh, we used hammers to drive nails back then.
You're in a good honest trade that can be very rewarding. I still drive by houses I worked on and say, I did that, or I helped build that house.
I love your content and it brings back a lot of memories.

All you had to quote was Larry Haun and I'm in. I just found your channel after praying for the The Crazy Framer to come back, but you're conscientious, level headed, Great attitude, and just plain good! Thanks for talking what's going through your head when you're working and People! let's get his subscriber count up. He well deserves it. Love the cam and drone shots too.

Larry Haun, keep reading and learning his ways and you won't go wrong. Many a good carpenter/builder got their beginnings by following Larry's footsteps...RIP

Haha I’ve learned my lesson with those😂when dealing with a chance of hitting and dinging the front door or walls inside, better to play it safe.
