Great post! Thanks for the great work you are doing to help the diaspora who want to move back. Your channel also helps people like me who already moved back home.
I considered all of the factors you mentioned before moving back home. I wish I moved back a long long time ago!
Jamaica is more expensive than the African countries I considered. However, I am loving the relatively low cost of living compared to the USA.

The more TH-cam video I watched the more I see rich white people going down there and buying off the land because they are hearing what you're saying. The thing I don't want to see is less black and more of everyone else and then racism becomes an issue. They like to come around us a lot and change things. Anyway very good information, thank you.

According to Immigration Advice Service, the cost of living is 0.49% lower in the UK than in the US (of course cities will have a different margin). Although Shipit says that USA has lower overall costs compared to the UK. There are some aspects that will be better in UK and others in the US. Investopedia has a good breakdown you could look at. I own a property in Trelawny and one in St Ann. I have travelled all around the world and Jamaica is beautiful. Lush, tropical, verdant, friendly and sociable culture. On the flip side, simple things can be a struggle; just going to a ATM can be a herculean task. Bad roads, bad drivers, bad service, so much apathy, crime. Every problem is explained away, such as that’s the way things are here, or these things happen in America too.
One month after I arrived, I went to visit a doctor and she asked me why would I come back here, if I did not know how hard life was here. A doctor saying this to me.

@LifewiddiJamFams that has not been the experience of my family and that's why we have to maintain an account at a private hospital in montego Bay. Know for a fact my uncle sat in a chair in the emergency room at Cornwall for 72 hours no bed! Bleeding from a punctured prostate he recieved at Falmouth hospital!

Thanks for sharing your family experience. It is regrettable that your uncle had to experience that. Hopefully he got the cared he needed , in Jamaica and is much better now.🙏🏾🙏🏾 Thanks again for sharing! 🤩
