Dramas can be built for children who face bullying issues at their schools. You have no idea how much it affects their mentality, their personality. This is something parents can never understand and dramas are the best ways to show them exactly what it's like to go through such things. But unfortunately, our drama industry is all about marriage, love affairs, domestic violence, saas bahu nand k conflicts.
Its like finding a needle in the haysack to find any drama that doesnt revolve around the theme of marriage. I mean the pakistani dramas are so obsessed with marriages i have not even attended these many marriages in my real life.

Reminds me of the Jordanian netflix original series Al Rawabi School for girls. The show is based on bullying along with other social & cultural norms which is highlighted. I'd suggest everyone to watch it!

K-Drama are really addictive . Most of series are of 16 20 episode with 1hr+ time episode still u won't feel bored for a minute .

The reason why k-dramas are gaining popularity is because of the fact that they have different storylines, variety of genres such as crime mystery fiction thriller etc, and also being free of adult content unlike hollywood netflix series. Hence they're bound to be popular. And no doubt, some korean dramas are extra ordinarily amazing.
So yes, Pakistan needs to make its dramas' genres diverse.

Watching from India, loved it. Ye sirf Pakistan ka nahi India ke shows ka bhi yahi haal hai. Both the countries need to undergo some serious changes in terms of media.
Luckily we've OTT platforms which are giving some quality stuffs to watch to younger generation, this has also influenced tv serials as well too come up with good plots. I hope we'll see more changes.

Junaid I am totally with you on this, some time ago, I had the debate with some friends, I said our Media has no program for Character/Career development.
In UK and US, there are series on careers.
For Lawyers... SUITS
For Advertisers.... MAD MEN
Financial Investment... OZARK
For Doctors... GREYS ANATOMY
For Chemist.... THE BREAKING BAD
And there are hundreds of options. Like that.

There are toms of topics in western shows and movies and in all areas.
Like even in financial/banking sectors... Wall street: money never sleeps, The wolf of wall street. Why cant we make movies on our financial crises.
For mafia, west gave us the masterpiece... Godfather. Why cant we make movies on mafias in our country... no need to target all the way up to politicians or the movie will get banned but like small mafias such as beggar mafia or child labour.
For education, why cant we make movies such as 3 idiots. Why depression cases in our youth increased alarmingly since the past decade.
I find production companies equally responsible, if not more, for this since they are the ones who are providing dramas to the media houses. I mean Fahad Mustafa is becoming the male version of Ekta Kapoor.
Speaking of cousin marriages, have you noticed since the past 2 years, majority of the dramas revolved around cousin marriages. I mean whats with the obsession with cousins and marriages?
Marriage is a PART of life, in our country, it has become the PURPOSE of life.

I would like to something here. After watching an interview of something haute with Fahad Mustafa, he says that people don’t really watch such dramas and there are no views on such creation. It works on TRPS and profits. The main audience is the people who are in jalsas and poor people.

2. ghissi pitti Mohabbat,
3. raqeeb see,
4. sabaat,
5.parizaad
6. akhir kab tak
These few dramas are good in recent times. The problem is good dramas can be counted on numbers. There should be more production of them.
Very few of today's dramas are good but old dramas were best.
