@@WagnersTechTalk It worked like a charm!...Once I tore apart my Pironman and reattached the tiny ribbons and connectors. Many tiny screws were dropped, never to be seen again. But once reassembled, all went well. Great directions!
If you enjoy your Pi 4, you'll likely love the Pi 5. Using with an NVMe drive is a better experience, faster read speeds and more reliable than a microSD. Thank you so much for watching, Mike!
Your rasberry PI videos are always very thorough, you should do a video on how to download windows 11 on a PI 5, haven't found a very explanatory or even updated video on TH-cam on how
Thank you! I made a video sometime back for the Pi4 running Windows 11, but you're right I've not for the Pi5. I'll see what I can figure out. Thank you for your request!
Yes, but it's a bit more involved. You can check out the documentation on Pinn here: github.com/procount/pinn/blob/master/README_PINN.md . I only used the available images as they are some of the most popular images. Side note: a new update for Pinn was recently released.
Another great tutorial Jon 👍🏻 That‘s a pretty cool feature to have multiple OSs i parallel. Does it work for the Pi4b too? Unfortunately i don‘t have a Pi5.
Thank you so much Manuel! Yes Sir, you'll find PINN also available for the Pi 4 within Raspberry Pi Imager. The same thing shown here will work on the Pi 4. You can also use a USB stick, SSD over USB 3.0 or microSD the same as shown here with an SSD (operating over the PCIe port on the Pi5).
I haven't made a video on setting up a web server, however you may find this guide from Tom's Hardware helpful: www.tomshardware.com/news/raspberry-pi-web-server,40174.html
Thank you, looks like it may be possible (I've not personally tried). Check out the documentation here: github.com/procount/pinn/blob/master/README_PINN.md and search for gpio.
@@WagnersTechTalk Thanks. I looked thru the readme and it seams like one could do something with the boot-script and checking the GPIO pins in there. There are just some pins to be avoided to not use as boot-select. I will use this for a Sports-PC in a home gym, thus the wish that each person has there own profile on Android which just confuses people. But with PINN I can just have multiple android installs, one each personalized for the users.
So if im in kodi or any os i restart while holding shift then click the mouse to het to recovery mode? Couldn't figure how to get out so i wiped the ssd? Also how donyou get it to always noot to the recoveryode not into. A specific OS?
I tried installing latest ubuntu 24.10 , raspios_arm64_full, and batocera, first got "Error creating file sytem mkfs.fat: warning - lowercase labels might not work properly with DOS or Windows". Then i tried to pick ubuntu2310, then go error again OS install error again. So I went back and deselected raspios_arm64_full, and just have unbuntu2310 and batocera, the I get OSes install successfully. However, when I tried to boot up the OS, now I get " Kernel panic - not syncing: Asynchronous SError Interript". Any idea please? Thanks
@@WagnersTechTalk if i remember there was only one PINN file to download with same date as in video. @WagnersTechTalk I figured that out. I wanted to change the OSs that I had installed on PInn. I reinstalled pinn and changed the OS on PInn but rasbian no longer will boot? Every other operating system fine. For some reason rasbian just stalls ?? Is this common? What do I do?

I had pinn working with multiple operating system for my 1 tb nvme. I wanted to remove a few operating system which i did but now rasbian will not boot, it stalls at update screen? All other operating systems work fine. Is this a common problem? How do i fix it? Do I have to wipe the SSD with a different program than the pie manager them install an image to it? I even wiped my micro sd card , reinstalled that software then tried reimagining Pinn....
Yes, it auto-partitions the SSD. You can make manual adjustments, if you wish see 07:48 . Otherwise, it divides the amount of storage by the number of OSes you select for installation.
An image is a single file or a set of files that encapsulates the complete contents and structure of an operating system, along with additional files, configurations, and metadata required for deployment or execution. Hope that helps.
VNC with PINN OS directly may be tricky. But you could auto-boot into Pi OS Desktop and then use Pi Connect. I do have a video on that, this may be what you want to try: th-cam.com/video/y9cHFkGC6Aw/w-d-xo.html
Hi, I appreciate all of your videos, they are extremely informative. You’ve gained a subscriber. I was wondering if you think I’ll be able to install pi os, Kali Linux and Ubuntu on a 8gb pi5 with. 256gb ssd? Should that be able to run sufficient?
hmm everything works but Batocera, when I go to boot it, it shows "Fatal firmware error", I even tried re-installing it... still no go... but Raspberry Pi, Kali, Ubuntu, all boot and work fine....
Any news on natural history pack 3? Scheduled to release nov 25th but nothing promoting it has me worried. No screenshots, gameplay , trailer or even mentions.
Hey AtGames Pinball Fans! We wanted to reach out and share an update on the Natural History 3 Pinball Table Packs. We’re working to bring you the best experience possible and decided to take a little extra time to perfect these tables, ensuring they’re up to the highest standards. We’ll be announcing a new release date as soon as possible for Legends HD and Legends 4KP devices. Thank you for your patience, passion, and ongoing support.
They left out the most important part. Every time you want to change the OS after the initial install you have to run the dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/nvme0n1 bs=1024 Everytime a partition size changes that needs to be done I do believe. Can anyone confirm if you place hold a partition but keep it empty it does not have to be done??? Unless I'm dumb and didn't understand this in the video...
Yeah I know you're exactly right maybe I'm dumb because I didn't know about that command when you change the partition size but it's very important right and I think it should have been in the video Like if you want to place hold the partition fine but if you don't you're going to have to run the command every time Because if I had that question other people will have that question too right especially when you're setting it up in the first place with which OS you have on it and the partition sizes until you get your final setup dialed in. Nobody is going to set it once and leave it and even if you place hold it eventually you're going to be like well I want more space in this partition drive partition You want and don't want
Great video. I have this new Pironman with the raspberry pi but didn’t know it could handle PINN. I’m looking forward to trying this.
Please let me know what you think once you get it setup!

It's a great tool for multi-booting.
Best video regarding the topic of having multi boot options on RPi so far 👍👍👍

nice video! it was quite useful, is there a way to use openWRT inside pinn?
Thank you! I don't recall seeing openWRT as an option within PINN, but the OSes available changes periodically.
Did they send you a deskpi lite case for review?
They did for the pi 4, not the pi 5.

If you want to remove an OS you'll need to start from scratch and not check the OS that you don't want. Erasing any previous installations.
