So, I am a first time Rasberry Pi enjoyer. THIS will literally be my first build ever! :-) so excited mine gets here roughly within a week or so. So I am definitely NOT stupid when it comes to technology I usually thrive I almost always catch on really quick buuut when it comes to "Programming" I cant program too save my gat damn life which is digusting! I really would like some guidance for where I would go to in order too look for more information as where I could go to get more questions awnsered pleaa, I would TRULY appreciate your assistance you seem knowledgeable about these things.
If you don't have a display to see if the bootloader was successfully updated, are you able to just plug in and turn on the pi with the sd card in, and it'll still update it anyway?
Just finished builsing mine, everything works fine, except my Oled screen doesn't display anything despite being detected.. hopefully their service team will be able to help me! Otherwise it looks amazing in my living room setup to run steamlink, it makes it a tiny gaming PC in some way!

Hey I think the pironman5 broke my pi5 the io hat did I think but I'm not sure. my pi5 only has a red light now and it wont even turn on if anybody knows please reply.
I built the kit prior to adding the bootloader. Will I be able to install the bootloader after building the Pironman 5? If this will cause a problem, how do I work around the problem?
@@sunfoundermakereducation8590 got it. It is Real-time clock. But I am using without battery still everything works fine. What will be the differennce if I use that battery? can you please explain it. I could not find any information in your document, website or video.

You guys sell these things for damn near a hundred bucks a pop, but you're still too cheap to have one of your employees narrate the instruction video?? The fuck, bro.
Cool, now redo it without the SSD adapter because that isn't included in your kit, nor is it mentioned that it needs to be bought separately. Errors galore.
It is included? It’s a complete kit… unless you’re talking about for the computer in which case of course it isn’t. If you’re going to go this far to build this case and nvme boot your pi, you should either have one already or know how to/be able to clone your as card to the nvme from the pi, which is not very difficult.
@@connermalloy It isn't included. You are probably thinking I am talking about the SSD PIP. I am talking about the SSD adapter used at 1:38 which is most certainly not included. The normal methods don't always work. The SD card only worked to update the bootloader. In my case I was getting errors when installing home assistant OS through either SD or USB. I was able to eventually get it working by interrupting the boot by holding 'shift' and having it attached to my network where I was able to use a feature to image it from the network. Total pain and no tutorial video on YT quite matched my situation since no one was having the same errors or using the same configuration. I don't think the SSD adapter would even fit in the box the pironman 5 comes in as it is a smidge too long.
@@StaK_1980 Except it isn't necessary. The "responsibility" to buy required third party hardware that isn't part of the main configuration (i.e. pi5, power supply) is an asinine idea, especially since it isn't mentioned when buying it. I got it working without the adapter using an SD card to update the bootloader, failing to use that same SD card for home assistant OS, and installing OS over my network instead. Buying a 15 chinesium adapter that will sit in a landfill after never being used again is insane.
I got my order yesterday, took about 30-40 min to assemble. Wasn't as hard as some videos made it out to be, very happy.

An absolutely brilliant tutorial. Thank you so much for a great product and great explanation of the setup!

Ordered mine today. Looking forward to putting it together.
what is the use of battery in this setup?
Is there a compatible RGB ice tower?

I'm thinking about getting this, but I'll probably leave out the SSD board because I tend to just hotswap MicroSD cards with different purposes
just finished building mine and it's not powering on

Does the steps to install bootloader/os supports also the Home Assistant version of PiOs?
I whish they could also just sell the rtc/nvme board separately! I like this form factor a lot
Why do we need a battery?
For RTC

Ok. Can i use Raspian or Armbian instead of RaspberryOS with this display?
Hey does the thermal pads come with the pironman package?
Yeah
i dont get hdmi signal from it

Very thorough but you move way too fast. By the time I hit the pause button you're already two steps ahead.

You can buy an SSD adapter. That is your responsibility.
Either that or they'd have to bundle the SD-card, the SSD too.
