    I don't believe it. About 2 weeks ago, I was thinking to myself "I would really like to get Sean's views on hunting boots. Not as exciting as a hunt video, but equally essential." But he's probably too busy. And yet, here we are. Thanks Sean!

    I really like their waders, I picked one up for beaver trapping. They are very warm in cold water, very durable, and comfortable.

    Bro, I tuned my dragon x8 just like you said. Day three since I first picked up a bow I can 2 inch bulls eye 6 arrows at 30m and can hit target at 70m. Awesome fun. Thanks for your help champ. I’ll see you soon champ. Harpazo !! Note to self, wishing I used an arm guard for just that first day.

    I have these boots, the 6mm insulated ones. LOVE them, and easy on off. I like to tuck my pants into my boots, and they are good fitting when doing this. Easy climb up tree stand. Walking terrain, is alittle bit of a work out but I don’t really trek to where im hunting so it’s not a deal breaker. Sizing is true to size for the most part, however it’s on the smaller spectrum of that size. Im a 7 mens, and these boots fit comfy, not to big not to small, just right. If I planned on wearing wool socks, I might have gone up 1 size but I don’t wear thick socks ,just ankle socks, so keep this in mind when ordering them. They are relatively cheap at $78 off Amazon. Compared to other name brands, these are VERY affordable as opposed to the $200+ price tag some comparable option carry. Unfortunately, a lot of in store items, they don’t carry or make size 7, usually start at size 8 for most items. So TIDEWE for the win. AFFORDABLE, Quality, and the fact they offer smaller sizes, all the way down to size 5 which is unheard of in ALOT of other brands.

    I would really like to see an update on these boots at the end of deer season. It's great to see first impressions, but . . . . Thanks for the video.

      Been working pretty good so far. Only complaint is the clip that pulls the elastic strand in the back tight often comes loose so I may set it and tape it closed where I want it.

    Will have to take a look at these Sean. I know Dan from the "Hunting Beast" has used Tidwe for awhile now with no complaints.

      @@seansoutdoors You're welcome Sean! I meant to tell you that I met a fan of yours in PA at Tyoga Boar Ranch. He's said how much he'd learned from Rich Wilson, Death by Bungie on hunting. Then he said the other guy he loved was you Sean. He wondered where you'd gone, so I told him that you moved to Whitetail Heaven in IOWA, and that he should still watch. You've made such a huge difference for so many fans with your content! Good luck this Fall!

    Only thing I don’t like about the boot, is if you use the little ledge on the boot for taking them on and off, the Camo will start rubbing off on the lip. Normal use, the Camo won’t come off.

    Great info! The lip on the back is for crampons fyi

    I missed the discount. But you can't buy a better boot and you'll never beat the traction at that price.

    It is a good looking boot, I’ve got my second pair of this type of boot. Really nice on wet days and clod weather. My problem I keep running into is I hunt public land, I’ve got a few stands that are a couple miles from my truck. I keep getting blisters and sore. I just can’t get a no insulation boot it’s get cold where I live. Just had a few questions for you about this type of boot, but you pretty much covered all I had on my mind. Do you use scent cover to help with the rubber smell. Good hunting and gods speed to ya and your family bud 👍🇺🇸🙏🏻

      I don't bother too much with scent cover spray anymore. They don't really do much despite the advertising. You could consider packing these in a backpack and walking to your stand with running shoes or something packable and comfortable and then swap them when you get there with the hunting boot.

    I wear 7mm an wool socks an I'm good in the negative temps all day sitting or standing in my stand idk how anyone would need more then that and I'm in nh where it really snows an gets cold

    • @seansoutdoors
      @seansoutdoors  6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I could never wear these all day in freezing temps without something else. I can’t even do that with my 2,000 gram thinsulate boots. I have poor circulation so my feet get cold easy

    Let us know how they hold up, usually boots are great for a season or 2 then start leaking or worse, falling apart.

    • @seansoutdoors
      @seansoutdoors  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Will do. They seem like they will hold up equivalent to any of the other brands I've tried.
