Follow Pennsvanian ! Been watching your older reviews and bought 2 pairs of these boots after watching your review last summer . Couldn't be more pleased with them , that fit like a glove , wore them all October and November and part of December here in Pa . Mine are 800 grams of insulation. Can't Wait to wear them for our Pa Spring Gobbler Season ! Bought quite a few items after watching your reviews ! Keep the Great Video Reviews Coming ! Stay Safe & Healthy ! God Bless !
This is my first season with the Tide We 800 gram thinsulate rubber boots with the neoprene uppers. So far I am pleased with the comfort of these boots. While walking or climbing a tree I have not been distracted by any discomfort in the boots. I bought them last December. No durability issues to report yet. Good luck everyone.
Thanks for your feedback. I’m hoping to get a pair of the 800 gram boots as well. I opted for the non insulated version since I use them often in warm weather. But I’ve been impressed with the ones I have enough that I would like to get the insulated version before next season.
I have 2 pairs of TideWe boots, I wear one pair every day in the spring and fall at work, and they are pushing 5 years with no leaks. I bought a second pair for when the first wore out, and they have been sitting in the box for 2 years because the first ones are still in great shape. My co-worker has Muck brand boots, and my TideWe's outlasted them. I wouldn't recommend long hikes (5+ miles) with them, because they can get a little moist and uncomfortable, but that's not what they are designed for anyway, any rubber boots are going to suck for hiking. I would HIGHLY recommend TideWe.
Thank you for your review. It helped me make the decision to buy a pair off Amazon for just $68.00. I'm also a 12 1/2 so I hope they'll fit as good on me as they did on you.
Just wanted to let you know that if you buy direct from Tidewe website you can save 18% with the coupon code TBS18 I’m still wearing mind and still enjoying them. Hope they fit well.
The size 13 insulated boots are $130 without tax and shipping and discount code, for a good quality pair of waterproof boots that'll last, that's a bargain these days. Thanks for the video and the review.
I’ve always worn bogs which have lasted me almost 7yrs. They’re finally wearing out and leaking so I’m considering these as a less expensive option and from recent reviews ppl are saying the quality of bogs has gone down which is such a bummer because I love mine. Would you say these are pretty true to size for you? And how long have you been wearing them before you made the video?
The size was true to size for me, but I also used the tide we size chart to actually measure my foot and verify the correct size. I wore them frequently for 3 or 4 weeks before the video. I’ve been continuing to wear them and stand by everything I said in the video. I wore them hunting last week on a day where I hiked nearly 5 miles. They are still the most comfortable boot of this style that I have ever worn. The only thing I can’t speak to is the long term durability.
My experience: Lacrosse are horrible! Muck are great, expensive & breakdown after 2-3 hunting years. TideWe (so far), 1/2+ the price of others…hope they do well…if they last 2-3 hunting seasons will be well worth the investment.
I’m through 3 seasons with mine and expect to get at least one more season. The rubber seems to be holding up well, but the camo layer over the neoprene is starting to get a little torn up. As of now they are still waterproof.
I’ve worn mine quite a bit for well over 2 years and they are only now starting to break down…and even at that they still don’t leak. I’m sorry your experience hasn’t been the same.

Thanks for you feedback. So glad to hear you have had a good experience.
I agree. Super comfy, watertight, solid grippy soles.

Just bought a pair. Feel good around the house. Hope the work out in the woods!
Mine are still going strong. I’ve had other rubber boots since then and the TideWe are still my favorite.

I have been really impressed with my boots. Thanks for your long term review.

Didn’t read your comment close enough. $68 on amazon is a great price.
Thanks for the review!
No problem

I still have the schmuck boots you reviewed several years ago.
I really liked those boots especially for the price. Just too bad you can’t get them anymore. I wore mine pretty hard and they’re worn out.
I have a pair myself
How do you like them?

Good review. Seems like a good boot 👍
I’ve been enjoying them for sure!
They are also NOT snake proof unlike the Lacrosse

Do they come in 1/2 sizes or did the size 12 work good
The size 12 worked great for me. The best fitting rubber boot I’ve tried…at least for my foot.
TideWe boots are pretty nice when new. Unfortunately they are seriously lacking in durability.

that's nice =))
You wear these working in a kitchen eventually you are going to fall.
Hmm? Ok, I normally wear these outside hunting and fishing, not in the kitchen.
😂
