He's a little nervous but he is right on with Cicero. Cicero was a self made guy who had a great talent for law and public speaking. He reached the highest of positions, which was consul. He tried to save the republic but he was killed by Mark Antony's proscription list.
Yeeaaaah that's a lie. I work for the campaign and everyone I work with at the lowest totem poll of the campaign (interns etc.) makes, bottom-line $15 an hour, has health insurance with mental health coverage, and an option to receive union benefits. If you're going to try to smear someone just use a quick google search.
What? Cicero was an outsider, and you compare that to the 2 most insiders playing the game to their advantage? Trump is known for lobbying his Liberal friends into making laws in his favor and Sanders had been in office his entire career. They are the very definition of insiders and opposite of Cicero. They are more akin to Nero or Caeser.
bernie sanders is as much of an oidsider as it gets. he is the greatest threat to the establishment that we have had in most people's lifetime. he won't win because the establishment has more control then we realize. In policy bernie is closer to tiberius Gracchus but he won't get as close for the above reasons. Trump is a fake outsider much closer to ceasar or marius. Marius was new wealth so trump is kind of an in-between but his role to the republic/plutocracy could be similar in challenging the power structure but still very unlikely. but he has made statements that make one think he thinks about it. i don't believe the military complex is as contolled as we are told by president so i don't think there is a real possibility. Cesar and Marius were both generals with full control of big armies so i think that is the key difference and the likely hood that our plutocracy doesn't get challenged as quickly.

He's not nervous, he's about to collapse due to obesity meathead.
@@ryanlawrence9010 Bless your heart.
I teach Ancient History. We’re studying Cicero at the moment. I’m showing my students this video. Well done.
So proud of my son, I hope he writes his book
This is a very good (and important) talk! I don't understand why only ~1400 people have watched this
Because the talk is missing the emotional connection with the audience.
Very much enjoyed, thanks for sharing.
Biggly! I see what you did there, lol.
This ones suppressed uh? I hope you get heard more. Sharing the video
Comparing Cicero with Trump is kinda akward. Cicero Brilliance is and will be reknowned for millions of years, Trump ...

Watching this in 2021 after on Jan 6
Bernie Sanders? The guy who has been campaigning for a $15 an hour minimum wage but pays his staff only $13?

Trump was never a conservative or a liberal or anything but a selfish conman. Now his is the Mafia boss
Trump is not great but he's no Nero or Caesar. He's more like Bibulus.
You morons can't grasp thought s.
