This tub is actually REALLY SOLID!!! exposing the inner rocker, it all looks rust-free... All those years of it covered saved it I think. I'm invested in this thing... Can't wait to see more rehabbing what most people would absolutely scrap. NICE STUFF JF!!!
I lost my enthusiasm for Camaros, years ago, right? What is amazing is the craftsmanship in this build! My love is old Chevy trucks, specifically the 1958-59 blue chip Apache series. You guys are phenomenal and I will be dialed in for completion of this car! Great job, guys! Oh, and the camera ladies, too!❤❤
If you put a bit heat with the torch on the damaged wrinkles will pulling it will walk rite out... I've been in auto body for 30 years...just my thoughts.... good job guys..👍👍😎
First day onboard watching you and Blair brainstorm and putting this Camaro back to shape; so far a great first day start! Good job and looking forward to the next vid. TC.
Just goes to show how good Blair is when someone with your skills has him cone give a hand. You both do amazing work. Glad to see the 2 of you working together.
Great to see a low budget down to earth build from you JF. While I certainly appreciate your talent and high end car builds, that is not my style. I am a low budget guy and really enjoy building car stuff under a tight budget. I much more enjoy timeless looks and old school parts. This looks to be right up my ally. I have enjoyed both episodes so far. I will activate the notice for more on this one. Keep up the good work and have fun. Thanks for the entertainment.
Awesome guys love the episode especially blair being there best in the business 👏. Merry Christmas guys and all the best in the new year and forward to them. Peace.
An old man story from 1990...I bought 3 Camaros; a 67 & 68, unmolested, plus a 80%+ complete 67 which were all V8 cars. Nothing fancy, but rust free, straight, California cars. The price? Wait for it......$250. Horse traded them for? Can't remember (I am old)? Same year....383, green on green (gad!) Charger....drove it away, $200. Cowl induction Chevelle SS 396, auto $800. Just the front clip on any one of those would be more than that total combined. It was a great time youngsters!
Really liking this Project !! This Car will need a lot but it can be Restored enough to Drive again. The Vin say what Engine& ect was in this car & what Model?....
I've got a good upper sail panel and door post section if you need other than it's in Central Alberta and still on the car lol .ide give it to you I've got two compleat full quarters to go on the car
@paintucation merry Christmas,,,,big fan I remember you from the show trucks,,,,love the show,,but it's awesome to see you on TH-cam,,,,,,Yeee Yeee 🙏🙏🙏😀👋👋
Gee thanks , now you’ve got me all jacked up to find a POS to spend way too many hours and way too many beers to consume on ! Cheers all the best to you in 2025
@killerkustoms did say it was a dumb question . He does great work . Too bad here in Connecticut , U.S.A. the so- called auto body repair shops only are willing to work on newer vehicles. My search for someone that still does do metal work goes on , my car is only 39 years old & no one will do repair work on metal . I thank you for a response . Merry Christmas to you & yours .
The magic towel. Soak in water and it magically expands. JK Why would someone use a good camaro for target practice? At least they kept it to the rear quarter. Getting the structure back to straight then get the skin looking good? You can do it!!
Lmao yeah I would be worried about pulling it back into square 😂 Side and forward impact on the main structure can make life difficult. At least you are starting with a solid structure, just a little tweaked lol lol
@@IzzyMoserExperience You would need ear muffs like he had on had he been wearing a mic. The pounding would be enough to give a woodpecker a headache 😂
It's a camaro! You can buy everything including a new key ! I mean really guys buy the panels and weld it up . Ya got another 68 camaro kit car. Everything is a kit today . Do something different with it . Set it up high , solid dark blue , 396 5 spd . Cragars. Make it a 70s time machine instead of a dirt drager with an ls and automatic with big brakes and hideous big wheels .
@briansmith1279 I appreciate your talent, skill and abilities. I dislike camaros of any generation. They're just to small . I hit my head on the roof getting in.
Must be a treat for Blair to work in a clean and organized shop

She is beautiful 😍❤️😍 that's Marina blue
That thing is dang near pristine compared to to the crap Mike gets Blair to work on!
*Watched on TV not signed in so I’m going back n placing comments* 👍🏼👍🏼
Two Great Guys working together!

Oh yeh poaching Blair from Mike 😲Lol. Awesome job it sure looks bad....😎
Make a center bar so measurement can be made to the good side. Then you you have a good idea how far to pull the bad side.
I enjoy the content of your videos and definitely will keep watching this build. Merry Christmas to you and your family and friends.

Great vid, definitely channeling your inner DD Speed Shop with those random quarter panel zipcut lines lol

Watching that man read that metal is amazing

Yes you Can.. ive seen your videos before.🍀
Blair imo loves the challenge and such a cool build for a give away car .
Ladies & Gentlemen... Blair "The Magician" Smith!!! Very cool.
Love it, I’m excited to see more.
Thanks for watching!
Yeah she was hit hard but she could be put back together again you guys got the knowledge.
That car better have some crazy rare options to spend $ needed to get it roadworthy.
I'd love to have it. I've fixed some really bad cars. I had a blue 68 Camaro back in better times.❤❤❤❤
Really liking this Project !! This Car will need a lot but it can be Restored enough to Drive again. The Vin say what Engine& ect was in this car & what Model?....
Yes no problem
Lol you owe your buddy a new Hawaiian shirt 😂
Did that in the 90s. Hard to find someone now that wants to learn it.
Blair is the master
I'm here to support you, I will comment on everything you post to help get you ahead. Turbo Fireflys forever!
Awesome how you guys are bringing your son into it too that's cool
We love having him involved!
I've got a good upper sail panel and door post section if you need other than it's in Central Alberta and still on the car lol .ide give it to you

Never seen Blair work that hard for Mike 😂😂😂😂
He is actually starting with something from the jump 😂
Great show
Great opportunity
Merry Christmas
Would it help if the frame the car is sitting on was anchored to the floor? That way more pulling energy would be transferred to the body.
It was anchored to the floor 👌 thanks for watching
Last I checked you can't get many of these! They are all repairable if you want a original numbers shell and have the means to do it!
Looks like a good job
Looks like a much better working environment for Blair
Nice to see Blair working with you is a good body man
Yep its savable. You can buy all the tin. AMD
Thats the same color mine was. I was in the service while i was gone my father junked it. I was so mad at him when i came home 6 years later!
Damn
Use the torch on the heavy wrinkle
Hi love your work. And skills. How do you win this awesome car?
Getting there slowly
Gee thanks , now you’ve got me all jacked up to find a POS to spend way too many hours and way too many beers to consume on ! Cheers all the best to you in 2025
Glad to hear you’re ready to get your hands dirty 👍
@ 🤣 they’re always dirty ! I’m loving this project
I can’t believe what you started from to now
Get some safety glass on Teresa
Blair must work for him now and say goodbye to Mike
Maybe use it for parts panels on a car more complete.
Yep, that will buff out.
Need some packing blanket over those pull chains, nothing like digging pieces of hardened steel out of your body from a broken piece of hardware
just got a 2001 ram 1500 5.9 mag auto 4x4 300k good rusty for 1 dollar good great drive trai for a project
Should put bluetooth mics on so can hear clearly what you guys are saying
There were DJI mic’s on
Some of the video was filmed on go pros
Sorry for the dumb question . But why is Blair there working on that camaro ?
He used to work for us and we’re friends 👌

Blair is awesome person
I think Blair is just trying not to pay for heat,
He just goes from garage to garage and passes out for three hours whenever.
I'm interested in this Camaro Serge Pinard Orleans Ontario Canada 👍
I advise not to use a telephone pole and a 76 F350 hi boy cause when the state boy drove by and hard reverse he wasn't happy with me

Give JF a few months in his spair time you will know its same car i wish i never sold my 68 camaro ss i still miss it to this day
You Have the Money You can Fix anything, It all matters if you want to, but I think you Could find one in better shape, Then This Camaro
I know that killerkustoms can
Aways horrified when you see , metal fab expert not wearing ear protection belting on car bodies. hope you have a really good hearing aid later
If that car came from barrier bc , I believe my cousin was the owner that wrecked it
Nope , Washington
This is fantastic but the sound is not very good on the guys talking
Audio is always the hardest
I was going to say the same. Need those little microphones!
@@IzzyMoserExperience

@@arte9855 ha ha you cut the sound when using loud tools. Can't hear them talk then anyway
Ok I have a hack from when I started in 1984 on cars footballs and basketballs deflate push in tiny places and deflate
Doesn't Blair ever get a vacation????????????????

Anyone can do it the easy way, this is how real body men had to do it or the car was totalled. Take this as a learning experience..

I would keep that camaro instead of a pos junk pile Ford
Great stuff but I have to stop watching because of terrible sound quality.
No me gusto...no avanzan mucho
