Or just thoughts in general :) I can appreciate the tactile components, the adventure feel and natural elements of the game. Just havent played the game yet. Thanks in advance!
@@ShootingSunMedia Spirit Island has been my #1 game for 2 years and I've played it less this year than last 2 years (37 and 32 plays). Marvel Champions I just bought last November and my son and I are obsessed with it. Dwellings I tried one 4p game and then it confirmed I had to buy the game. Played two solo games to make sure I had the rules right and then played a 4p game and a 2p game, every time with all new players. I think it scales incredibly well. I have a lot of games that shine at 1-2p but very few medium-heavy games that work well at 3-4p so that's why I expect to play Dwellings mostly at 3-4p, but it's not at all because it doesn't work well at 1-2p. The solo mode is really well done and there's still tons of interaction at 2p. My top 10 games has been incredibly stable for 2 years with no other games breaching in until very recently when both Marvel Champions and Dwellings broke through.
Heavy - Mage Knight the Boardgame Filler - Sushi Go Party Euro - Anno 1800 Solo - Slay the Spire the Boardgame 2 player - Magic the Gathering Campaign - Divinity: Original Sin the Boardgame Can't get enough - Slay the Spire the Boardgame (with 2+ players)
For 2 player games, definitely Star Wars Unlimited. I've spent countless hours, both with TCG and non-TCG friends, delving into it. For family games, The Quest for El Dorado has almost never missed in any crowd with which I've played. For heavier games, I've not played enough of those this year to be honest. Super hard to get to the table. But Star Wars Rebellion is probably the top pick there.
Hard to say what our most played games are since me and my girlfriend started playing in February! First game we got was Azul and we really love it. That being said, I got Cascadia a month or two afterwards and that probably is our most played game of the half year so far. If I were to predict what our most played game of the year will be, it would probably be Ark Nova and Gaia Project. 😄Big resource management games are like crack for me and my girlfriend.

I finally got We're Sinking in the mail and I've played it probably 10 times already this month.😅 This game plays SO WELL at higher player counts. Everyone enjoyed it and cant wait to try out the expansion enemies next!
I think you should rename the video “most played so far”, perhaps even put “july 2024” on it. People are gonna find it later and it’s gonna age like an unlabelled April 1st video.
I wouldn't recommend it at 2 players. We thought it was playable at 3 but won't play it with 3 anymore. Definitely shines at 4 and is a brilliant game that way.

No, for us it's quite exclusively a 4 player game.
