Jeff Bezos recently said that the term "disruptive" is overused and that "technology is not disruptive without consumer adoption". While I see the value proposition for agents and agent teams, I'm yet to hear (on existing videos or this "updated" one), what it is that benefits the home seller or buyer when compared to other models. Without the consumer adoption, it's not disruptive per Jeff Bezos' definition anyway. I'd like to hear why someone would rather list their home with me because I'm at eXp and that it makes their experience better because __________. At KW, I already handle everything in the cloud other than the actual listing appointment. Please elaborate. Thanks Jay. Great presentation.
I appreciate and use TCs, CRMs etc so i'd like to hear why the people and systems are better than what my team offers to the CLIENTS (I get the split conversation and agent benefit and agree with it). Here's the Jeff Bezos video I referenced previously th-cam.com/video/fpDUiDQigO8/w-d-xo.html
Man I totally hear you. You can go back to 2011 when we founded the National Association of Expert Advisors (NAEA) and watch those videos. (One in differentiation on my channel specifically) We believed all along that disruption would come with a technology based solution that improves and automated the process of pricing, listing, and marketing a home for a much lower fee that the typical agent. We believed that it would weed out the masses of marginal agents. Seven years later. Hundreds of millions have been invested in Redfin, Purple bricks, compass, even Zillow and NOBODY has been able to improve the home selling or home buying process so much that the agent is irrelevant. Outside of Opendoor and and Offerpad - nobody is even close. Redfin is trying to discount and give all the money back with a bunch of half wit agents that couldn’t make it on their own and I Zillow who OWNS the eyeballs can’t get more than 3-5% of leads to convert no different than the most dialed in teams conversion rates. What’s brilliant about eXp and ,what I did not see whatsoever , is how to disrupt the brokerage and that opportunity even existed. Glenn Sanford changed the game and eXp is attracting all the talent and influencers and he engineered the business model in a way that makes people like me have a financial incentive to give YOU (and anyone you might attract to eXp) a financial incentive to help you close more deals and attract more agents. People pay us 25k a year for what I now give to you and anyone you talk to that joins us at exp. That is disrupting the brokerage model. Hence the massive growth. It’s us to us to add value to the consumer - we own the relationship - no brokerage is going to change that because the consumer relationship is owned by us as agents. Hope that helps - I’d LOVE to talk about it anytime - here is a link to schedule a call with me meetme.so/jaykinder
Jay, Carlo Gobba here... My first 3 years were with Century 21, my next 3 were with KW (and they had less than 10,000 agents at that time) and then I exited KW to be with RE/MAX the last 17 years of my career... I have connected here with Mark Z locally in Michigan and I hope to meet you someday soon... (I have learned so much from you, THANK YOU!) IF you don't mind, I think I have ONE point to Charles Hills question... Hear me out please... At KW they say "Where agents are partners" because 1/2 the profits are shared with their agents in a non risk way and that's great! BUT you and I Know the difference between "Profit Share" and "Revenue" share AND the fact that eXp Realty is being built for the most part without bricks and mortar...(Having the REGUS Deal is Brilliant!) At eXp Realty, "Agents are truly owners in MULTIPLE Ways! Being awarded stock for hitting certain milestones and being able to buy stock as it is a publicly traded company BUT also using 5% contribution out of each paycheck *AT A Discount. (Mind you I could buy stock at RE/MAX but so can you or anyone and as an agent there I get no discount!) At eXP, I can focus and become an ICON agent and OWN eXP Realty stock. So let's get to Charles's question... Agents at eXP Realty are TRULY Owners and not just PARTNERS... I believe an owner has more vested in a company they own. Truly... I saw this concept and said BOOM! That is Dissruption at its finest! That is the benefit to home buyers and sellers. We're the same agents that were previously with Coldwell Banker, KW, Century 21, REMAX etc... I'm sorry I will miss you, Michael Reese and Dan Beer and Brent Gove etc at eXPCon! I DO absolutely, look forward to helping to BUILD eXp Realty with your help and Marks help etc!
Yeah I'm actually in the process haven't actually taking the state yet but I'm in class and it's going to wrap up here pretty soon so I'm actually just kind of doing my due diligence right now but I definitely would love to go into that with you

Tom Solverson let me know what area and we will work with the State Broker to find one or see if we can convince a local agent to get approved. Let me know how I can help. 580-591-6404
Tom Solverson let me look into it - grab a spot on my calendar next week and we can discuss a success plan and a timeline for a mentor based on what I find 👍
Hi Jay my sister is working with you guys out of Dallas and that is how I heard of You. I am looking to take classes here real soon. I am here in Dayton Ohio. Would I be able to work with you guys right out of school or do I have to work with a broker like Keller Williams first? Also, what are the initial fees to get started with you guys?

Great presentation sir!
Does it have to be one team or i can sponsor in a realtor in a totally different state?
Just curious which fees must be paid up front and which are taken from your comission?
Boris N only thing you pay up front to join is $149
@@JayKinder in the video it says $99 for start up?
Boris N that should be $149
@@JayKinder joining fee is only fee that is upfront while others are taken from commission?
U talked about a lot of big time agents what's it like for brand new agents?
Desmond Harvey What would it be like to partner with top agents? 👌 shortcut to success. Happy to discuss meetme.so/jaykinder
