My name is Elie Moses and I am a 23 Year Old law and film student. I decided to watch the iconic 90's horror TREMORS (1990) for the very first time! The film starring Kevin Bacon and Fred Ward was a BLAST! Here is my movie reaction.

first time watching tremors movie reaction
I hope you guys are enjoying the upload rate at the moment between films and the two tv shows I am doing :)
ive seen 1-5 of tremors i think there was a part 6 and a mini series. but 1-4 are my top fave. Part 2 has a cute unexpected suprise (wont reveal it) part 3 is probably the most humorous and part 4 is the best plot and characters in my book.
I think there's even a 7th movie. I've seen the first three at least a dozen times each over the years. Haven't seen past part of 5, though.
26:49 - the perfect moment to drink ... LOL
Jaws, Tremors, and Arachnophobia are jewels. Instant classics.
Tremors is genuinely one of the greatest monsters movies of all time…everything about it just works…its a very smart and well made movie on all fronts
27:13 that was the best reaction to the gun room scene i’ve ever seen! such a fun flick
One of the most underrated films of it's time. Despite this it spawned six sequels. Happy to see it appreciated again. You just got a new subscription. 👍
This movie is straight out of my childhood, one of my first "scary" movies I saw. It's also the movie that started my liking Kevon Bacon movies... Also random fact that I figured out when I just rewatched, Heather(The redhead wife with the basement full of guns) is played by Reba McEntire who is a famous country singer and they used one of her songs in the ending credits too "Why not Tonight". She is also the lead in a sitcom that came out in the 2000's called "Reba"... I used to binge watch that show after school as a kid and thought it was hilarious. Loving your reaction so far, also when I went for the rewatch I wasn't expecting the worm monsters to hold up so well after so much time has passed since it came out. I blame them using practical effects that were just so well done!
I love this movie so much. Just a truly fun film. Growing up, no-one I knew had seen this film. Love that it's now getting more recognition. Great reaction man 👍
thank you soo much man. I absolutely had a blast.
26:48, i always love seeing peoples reactions to Burts Wall of Guns 🤣.
Best part of the whole movie!
Burt Wick
YESSIR!! That is Ariana Richards who played lex in Jurassic Park but this film was before Jurassic Park.
Rhonda "Now remember, no noise, no vibrations"
Marky Mark starts filming a music video
Rhonda "God dammit"
How about a six degrees of Kevin Bacon film reaction series? Next film could be Remo Williams with Fed Ward. Or Big Trouble in Little China with Victor Wong.
Where does hollowman fit in there?
This movie is such a classic brother. I feel like after this one and the second one the other ones became dumb as hell lol
Tremors = We have Dune at home.
The actor who played Earl is most famous for playing the dad in a 80’s sitcoms called family ties and it’s the show that made Michael J Fox famous, he played the son.
Earls wife is played by country singer Reba Mcentire.
You mean Bert?
I was too young to see this in theaters when it came out, but loved watching it once it came to television. It was one of my favourites growing up. It hits all the right notes for me. Plus it tickled me pink at the time that Reba was in it. I love all the early movies(1-4) the later one's aren great, don't think I even watched 6. There's a TV series too which isn't great, but I still enjoyed it as I recall.
I love that this movie seems to be coming up in these TH-cam watches because everyone loves it when they watch it and I love seeing the movie get it's due. You're one of my favourite reactors(won me over with Buffy) too so I love seeing you do this movie.
I love this franchise. Even the not so good ones after 4 (which is a prequel).
yep, the little girl on the pogo stick was the same girl, a few years later that appeared in the first Jurassic Park, and a cameo in the 2nd.
20 years ago, I could recite every line before it was said on screen. I'm not too far off that now. 😂
before my dad passed a few years ago, we'd watch this together every year since like '95.
god rest his soul 💛
@@eliemoses thanks buddy
The GOD BLESS AMERICA spit take was great!!!😆😆😆
Love your reaction when you saw the guns. This came out the year before Evil Dead and yes it's the girl from Jurassic Parkp
I hope you continue reacting to these movies at least through number four
So one thing I can say is we all had the same reaction you did during the bunker scene when the camera pans over to their wall of artillery. 😂😂sorry meant Rec Room
Evil dead 2 is probably my favorite movie of all time
I was 9 or 10 when this came out. Perfect movie for that age.
Awesome reaction! Sub for that spit take!
Thanks, Elie! 🪱
I love Tremors. Good choice of films
Elie was about to spit-take with the wall of guns reveal. X'D
You would also like:
"The Edge" (1997)
"The Ghost and The Darkness" (1996) based on real events in Tsavo, Kenya
"The Abyss Directors Extended Edition" (1989) written & directed by James Cameron
"Congo" (1995)
Okay so gonna start check out your movie reviews between your Sopranos uplaods. And this os one of my favorites. Tremors just a good old fashioned movie.
Now you understand why Mantis considerer Kevin Bacon one of the most powerful in the world thanks to Star Lord. 😊
I saw this in the theater when it came out. It wasn't really scary but very entertaining. I think starting with/after seeing Texas Chainsaw Massacre 2 we understood the humor in these types of films.
I was about 2 when this came out, so no to seeing in theatre, but I did see it on TV in he late 90s. They definitely do a great job balancing the suspense and terror of the creatures with keeping the movie fun. It's a bit of a hidden 90s gem.
Also that basement shootout is such an iconic scene
BTW if you want some other 90s movie recommendations in a few different genres, Saving Private Ryan, Independence Day, October Sky, and one of my favourites, The Hunt for Red October, are all good picks assuming you haven't seen them.
Havent seen Red October and October Sky
@@eliemoses One is a spy/submarine movie based on a Tom Clancy novel, the other is about some some kids in a small American town who get inspired to start building rockets in the early days of the space race. Based on a true story and Jake Gyllenhaal's breakout role.
1st timer here, sub earned. Saw this when it first hit home video when I was about 9, and it's been one of my all time favorites! IMO, Tremors 2 is (while much lower budget), a VERY worthy sequel. The rest of the sequels....meh. But please, do Tremors 2. Such an underrated gem.
My best friend and I tried to see this in the theater, but we were too young to get in. We had to settle for “Steel Magnolias” instead. Needless to say, a very different vibe.
Yeah I saw this right after it came out of theaters on video. But remember friends wanted me to go to watch it with them in theater instead I watch a Tom Cruise film. But yeah it’s a classic.
Great movie, great reaction!!!!
THANK YOU!
one of the best b-rated monster movies.
Since you seemed to love the film, here's a playlist of behind the scenes videos put together by one of the filmmakers: th-cam.com/video/8rI_R_Q56Fg/w-d-xo.html
They were filmed by the guy and his father during production, and he narrated them after the fact - really a cool look at the making of the movie! :)
this was way before evil dead was even tought of.
26:10 was my favorite part of the movie as a kid!
Man had the ammunation store from gta 5
@@eliemoses lmao 100% ammo store in GTA!
I genuinely cannot watch this movie without thinking it’s just an off brand version of dune lol
I think this was only realese in videotapes. It's a classic one, so bad that is too good.😅
You're awesome, half my age, twice as smart. You like the things I like, do The last of us, it's great, love to see your take on it. Cheers from Montana
all 7movies and the tv show are enjoyable.
They had a $10 million budget
Watch Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam movie ❤❤❤❤

What made this film even more fun this was “The Queen of Country Music” Reba McEntire first time acting. Loved that you found her and Bert such great characters.
