In auctions, your 8s will do poorly and the 9s will barely do raw. That's the way it goes lately. With the right names, 10s do well. 50 percent will do close to market, 30 percent will do 84 percent or less of market and 20 percent will do above market. But it HAS to be the right guy. For comps, 2.5x to 3x is about right.
Assuming you have a membership with PSA so hope you can help me here. I just sent my second card to PSA and noticed many content creators don’t consider the full costs of grading. (Not specifically you or this video) For instance, the $30 grading fee for my first submission ended up costing me about $84 with shipping, and my second card was $113. So did you just pay like 5-10k for this submission? Lol 🤷♀️🤨 I'm thinking about the $200 PSA Collector's Club membership to grade my Curry collection more affordably. Would that reduce my grading fees to around $15-$20 per card, plus shipping? Also, what are the shipping costs for PSA to send back 10-20 cards? PSA doesn’t provide much detail, so I’d appreciate any insights. Thanks for your help! I also followed both of your eBay stores; mine is the same as my name here!
AR is rough right now. I’m going to wait for a GOOD game, because he will have one, but I’ll dump after that. I’ve fallen into this but you had a really rough grader. All 9s and they looked good to me. Been there. Done that.
@@jrs4101 For sure. Stocks is always the better way to go. But at the end of the day, do what you want. I would invest in stocks and bonds over sports cards any day of the week but I like sports cards more.
It doesn't seem worth it for those base Stroud that only go for $35-50 in a PSA 10? With the raws going for ~$10, and PSA 9s only getting $20-25, the risk doesn't seem worth it? With fees, a raw $10 nets $8.50, a $40 PSA10 card nets you $34, less $20 in grading for $14 profit. Thats only a $6 gain. Should probably stay away from grading base cards unless its for your PC.
with wemby Chrome rookie base autos still selling for $1500 all day on eBay...you don't think his first RPA (rookie patch auto) with actual game used patches form key moments of his rookie season are going to sell for insane? lol just wait youll see! #sixpointfive
Shouldn't auction graded cards unless they are hugely sought after. If you don't have a huge following for your store or aren't a large dealer that has a lot of auctions, you won't get very much then you lower the comps and devalue the cards 🤷
@@LootboxTVreviews also like I said before just go live and then ship. No need to take pictures, list and price everything out. Could even make a loot box mystery pack
Great "strategy!" You grade cards that may net 10% if they come back a 10. As soon as I saw the 24TC Horwitz base auto, you proved that you've no idea what you're doing.
Who said it was GREAT? I have said a handful a times I am no expert. DID you listen to the video, or did you skim through, listened to 3 mins of a video and just write something? I mentioned I even need to do better. LOL

Curious do you prefer taking pictures of the cards over using the photos from PSA?

Great video! Appreciate the honesty at the end!
what do you think that wemby splash psa 10 would sell for?
Hey man you cracked me up on the fortnite live stream did you edit out the pudding comment?
LOL no not at all? It was all live, so look at the live comments. Thanks!
What would you buy as an investment card? Because I randomly buy cards from shops
Right now, it would be QBs that aren't doing hot that you think could be great long term. Too many people care about the right this second stuff.

Imagine if stroud won the superbowl this year 😂
Trying to sell a bunch of cheap cards, what’s your suggestion on the best way to sell them?
I have been using COMC a lot for my cheap cards, but I tried grading some and struck out.
The amount of 9’s looks exactly like my last order

I said I was a Director at a fortune 500 company. A Director of Marketing.
Good stuff
sending in Base RC to be graded is a travesty and waste of money.

Struck out on these. Moving on from them. Got about 2,600 followers on eBay idk if that's good.
PSA is such a joke sometimes. When you look at your card and can’t figure out why it got a nine, it’s a joke.
Let’s goooooo sweet cheeks!! 🚀🚀

Sweet Boondock Saints poster!
Thank you!
Jump on whatnot brother
