Can definitely agree with alot of the top tracks mentioned in here, despite "only" having 215 gold stars myself as of right now and haven't tried all of them yet. With the constant new track updates lately I'm struggling to keep up. Great video! Very entertaining and high quality.

24:08 i remember getting the zipper turn down pretty well as a kid back in the WFC days, pretty much the only advanced strat i knew lol. I wasn't 100% consistent, but I was consistent enough to where i would try it every time, even in regular races, esp since i was bad at the track otherwise.

Great video, and I'm honestly surprised that I saw my Waluigi's Motocross ghost on here at all, especially over tracks like Big Express City or Lost Fortress (latter of the two left me with injuries in the following couple days after I obtained the gold star). WM was never really a track I've spent a serious amount of time on, and I don't consider myself to be a top level player either, so I honestly never believed that people would have trouble with my ghost. Even before the track got updated, I had an even faster time of a 1:58.3xx which had more optimized lines, but I was told to nerf it due to several people expressing their concerns for the ghosts' difficulty relative to how the track plays. For the rest of the video, I can agree with pretty much most of the spots on your list, and it was even nice to know about some new strats that I didn't know existed since I haven't played this game seriously in roughly two years.
Oh damn, I definitely still stand by your WM ghost being a tough one, I did have pace quickly but remaining consistent on that track is a nightmare lol, if it wasn’t for your wheelie turn on lap 2, god knows how long it would’ve taken me lol

on magnetic sanctuary, the rail doesn't save even close to 1s, I'd say .5 at most. So you just have to be around 1s faster entering lap 3 and ur good to go around it and not deal with the fire pillars
this list is crazy to me in hindsight knowing that probably at least half of these ghosts had to be significantly nerfed from their original state (some by multiple seconds) lol
@@testsubject1666 yeah it's very funny to me but it would have been really bad if we let a lot of them through in hindsight lol. as some examples off the top of my head: Dragon Burial Grounds was nerfed by 1s after a hotfix update Desert Fort was nerfed by ~0.4s iirc (might be wrong but the time's on chadsoft) Honeybee Hideout was slightly nerfed after the update (hard to tell by how much since the track was a bit faster i think) Melting Magma Melee was nerfed by over 1.3s New Moon Manor was nerfed by 0.9s Volcanic Valley was nerfed but i forget by how much Wuhu Island was nerfed by ~0.8s we still have to do a lot of nerfing ghosts since everyone keeps trying to submit top 3 times in ctgp lol

When I first did 250 almost 3 years ago, undiscovered offlimit was one of the hardest ones for me. Idk why, I just kept hitting the koopa. Took me at least 3-4 hours.
Great video dude, you also have a really nice voice. I personally find DBG a lot harder than you ranked it. My hardest is Honeybee Hideout and that took me 7-8 hours while DBG has already taken me 10+ hours and I haven't been on pace into the shroomless L2 once, quite far from it. It's awkward to play imo and the halfpipes with the following ramp are just a chore to get right, maybe I'm just doing something wrong tho.

I find the Suzuka Circuit ghost rather easy, although I can fully admit it's due to familiarity with its layout from seeing real-life races on it, as well as driving it in simulators. It does not translate well to MKWii physics, though. (Not to mention how unrealistic the height difference is, there is barely any on the custom track.)
That would probably be much harder than the hardest because of how so many ghosts are 1st tries, would be hard to differentiate between the difficulty in a lot of ghosts
I’ve actually beaten new moon manor hardest ghost I’ve ever done by so much took me ten days cause I’m bad at the game but Yh shit is tough. Edit I’ve beaten desert mushroom ruins only took 2 hours I’m improving shocked to see it so high on this list
@@testsubject1666 you asked for my wrong opinions and though I don’t dare to touch half of these and have only beaten cheeseland and new moon I can say that as someone who has tted garden of dreams and glimmer express trains for around 5 hours wasnt counting those are not as hard as new moon manor i never completed a glimmer lap in 5 hours since no one told me how to do certain strats but if I was taught he strats that ghost shouldn’t take long it’s 1 million times slower than new moon and the track isn’t much harder also never had a split on pace to beat garden of dreams ehem zero consistency but I’m within .9 of it and getting within 1.5 seconds of it took thirty minutes while on new moon it took like 6 hours just to be within 2 seconds they are around the same speed tbh one track is just harder imo also the reason I can’t get a split on pace in garden of dreams is I have gotten way worse at the game over time I did have a few short time periods where I was decent at the game tho when I hit 9k vr I somehow was also good at tts when I beat new moon and when I beat celestial ruins and a ton of other 6 rated ghosts

Update I have beaten both superstar dystopia and wolf castlegrounds a couple months ago during december but not pipe underworld which right now Im working on something else
Definetly i would put rainbow road higher up, it is hard, but you should just learn kmj, its relatively easy even if you only do kmj and not jak/ps, still really good video i agree with the rest
Yeah, Kart moon jump definitely would’ve made RR easier, probably in the same way that teracy strat would’ve made CoD easier, but I’m bad at the moon jump as it is and not very good with a kart at all lol, probably would’ve been just as hard for me on kart as on bike

I think I rated it a 5/10, the track can be a bit weird to get used to but the ghost using bullet bike makes it easier to outspeed

sunset forest is a really hard ghost for me and really underatted
the shroom cut on sunset is definitely quite tough and it caused me to have a bit of trouble with ghost for sure
