Another nice, short summary. The ability to block the laser going where you don't want it is a nice feature some folks don't think about, especially if you are doing residential construction in subdivisions that are already occupied. Block the laser where it does not need to go to reduce passing motorists or pedestrians claiming they were "temporarily blinded" by your laser! I just use the old-fashioned technique, a piece of thin flexible poster board and a big rubber band. It works, but I wish my laser could handle instead.
