In this video, our expert will show you how to use the GeoMax Zone60 DG dual grade laser. This is a valuable tool for a variety of applications, including construction, landscaping, and surveying.
What you will learn:
- How to read a staff
- How to use a dual grade laser to measure elevation
- How to use a dual grade laser to create a level playing field
Here are some of the key points from the video:
- The staff is a measuring device that is used to measure elevation.
- The dual grade laser is a tool that emits two laser beams, one for measuring elevation and one for measuring grade.
- To use a dual grade laser to create a level playing field, you first need to measure the elevation of the starting point.
- Then, you need to set the laser to the desired grade and walk along the path that you want to level.
- As you walk, the laser will emit a beam that shows you the elevation of the ground.
- You can use this beam to adjust the grade of the ground until it is level.

Thanks for being seriously cute! And for the laser info, which I was looking for.
Good video ,just wondering if you can use that staff with the old machines that you look into using cross hairs ?
Yes you can indeed. The old. Machines you are talking about are Dumpy Levels. Also available with us!
You can, just make sure the person holding the staff is slowly tipping it away and toward you - the lowest reading you get is the correct one indicating plumb/vertical.
yes

Roch is our #GeoMax expert and is showing how to use one of the lasers we sell. While we appreciate a bit of sarcasm and a good laugh (even at our own expense) this comment is borderline offensive. Please from making such jokes in the future.
