TH-cam pointed me to Ted Nugent and Rogan. Ted pointed me to Jim. THANKS, TED! Now I gotta go practice for another bazillion hours to get as good as that. 🥴
@@4sythI finally figured out you were talking about Kenny Parker. Not being familiar with him it would have helped if you mentioned his last name. I can stream the whole album so I'll be listening soon
Ted has no vibrato, Jim has great tone. Ted better keep practicing, but his tone is among the thinnest of guitarists. I like Ted, but his tone sorta sucks. EVH was openly critical of it.
Ted's sound from 1995 until present is better than ever. His early sound was primitive somewhat but after he took full control and played in the Damn Yankees he learned a lot better tone and played some of the best songs ever. Shaw and Blades are a badass Duo as far as singing and songwriting.
This guy played for mitch Ryder and the Detroit wheels for a long time with Johnny bandejek on drums just a killer band from Detroit. They used to b the rivieras in detroit but he's played with the detroit rockets house band at the blue goose I think it was called onthe east side cactus he's been around forever. Great player. 👍
There are few things worse to watch than old out of shape grandpas and old out of shape grandmas still trying to dance to old ppl taking the stage and playing old old music.
an absolute legend Jimmy is. A True Detroit Legend. I am honored and greatful that I had a chance to share the stage with him. A class act for sure
I cannot begin to comprehend why this guy hasn't got the recognition he deserves... Living guitar legend.

Nugent is not very good. The records don't lie.

Oh well, Jimmy Mccarty still very "well", God bless.
Uncle Ted is right. Jim is way under rated.
💥One of the most blazing guitar jams of all time and it’s in front of a bunch of retired folks sitting in folding beach chairs. WTH 👊🏼 Sitting…??
