I track my daily driver R32 and it handles really well around corners. Being light is nothing if it's unstable! Straight line speed is something to be desired but it isn't SLOW by any means. Slow-ER than most turbo things - sure.
Great to see an aussie video!!. I found the stock audio very good for the age, loud and crisp, not sure what is up with yours. Got a mk6 exhaust in mine which bolts straight on and is the same but with no resonator. Prices have dropped a bit, time to buy now if you want something more of a street machine than a gti is!
@@marcuskonstantinidis7593 Its fine in the car, not overwhelming. Gets good comments from random people on road, but a cop magnet, so remapped it to only be loud when in manual mode. Its not any deeper, I believe the rear muffler needs to go, and the resonator kept for a deep sound. Its just louder, much like stock loud when valve is now kept closed all the time.

I'm in VIC andI have a completely standard 07 mk5 r32, with the zolder wheels, sunroof and to top it off its manual! It's a great ride, makes a great sound and looks very handsome and grown up imo. Really cool cars which will soon be an appreciating classic!
I own a mk 7.5 R that been tune but after testing driving on the weekend a mk 5 r32. These cars are just a whole different level that VW really put their heart out. I have put a deposit and i agree with what you said about vw r32. I live in Melbourne if you are back love to see your and I got a 3dr blue one as a weekender

Sounds like an army of Wookiees. Nice ride, I'm more of a mk4 r32 fan style-wise, but the mk5 is growing on me, and likely overall better car

Your sound system may sound crap because of the RCD330 fitted. There are mixed reviews on the sound quality after retrofitting these units.
