This is a joke. I find this visit in the way back machine offensive. This man killed an innocent woman because he didn't get his way. He blames everyone else for his incarcerations/ felonies and he can't seem to understand why he (as if he's special) has it difficult after he served his time. Perhaps he shouldn't have committed these serious offenses? A LOT of us had unhappy childhoods. Shut this man up. I am so disgusted. Take this big cry baby off the stand! Let the jury get to work.

Eternal Skywalker I agree! I find it hard to believe this man. First Scott was abused by his father and now he was his fathers favorite? Which is it? I hate the way he doesn’t look directly at the camera and he fidgets with whatever is in his hands. Makes him to me untruthful.

@@jessicarae2109 It seems rehearsed. He is including way too much information with each answer. He seems to be saying what he was told to say, and not what actually happened. He seems to be going through a checklist in his mind.

He certainly has an odd demeanour for someone whose testimony could help decide whether or not his brother is executed. Very little eye contact, frequently looking elsewhere and seems to be toying with a piece of string.

He seems to think he is getting what he wants, notoriety for one. Seems like he seeks attention all the time and this trail is certainly give him that. He is institutionalised and maybe is edging for the most comfort behind bars...DP?.
We have been hearing being in the GP has caused him a lot of grief and problems, he seems to hold a lot of resentment ....maybe that's the best place for him to be? His brother has certainly been told what questions will be asked and is ready for the answers.
I've never seen such a hateful man, the poor family having to sit through all of this must feel exhausting and totally unfair. They are the ones that have had to endure real hardship....it's a total circus! Bless them all🙏
Anyone no where the part is - where nelson stands up and shouts out while the brother is testifying?

Too many questions that REALLY don't matter or affect ANY of the info already garnered by the jury. Much time wasted here.

I like this judge. He seems very thoughtful and fair. I particularly like how, with the jury is in the room, the judge will ask the prosecutors and defense attorneys if they're ready to proceed, he will also ask Mr. Nelson if he's ready. I haven't seen that before. It seems very fair and dignified.

I can see a woman's paranoia start to grow with a toxic male in the mix. She may start to think things she never thought before because she met someone she never thought up, she couldn't imagine anything coming back to good.

With student lawyers defending you on a murder trial your bound to get locked up. The red head starts every question with "Um" and the other one can't spit out a proper question. Sad defense.

I have no idea what they are trying to convey with the whole inheritance thing. Inheritance is not a right its a gift. the father had the right to disperse his assets however he saw fit. Maybe he somehow thought his wife and her children were a better investment than his children. Wonder why he would come to that conclusion? Honestly, I am fairly certain everyone involved in the situation is an asshole to some degree.

Brother didn't do Scott any favors. Most defense witnesses favor prosecution case anyway. The family is all weird. The ONLY break I'll give scott, is his mom was a serious schizophrenic.

Sorry, it's a pet peeve, ESPECIALLY when the State prosecutor clearly heard James say Massachusetts very CLEARLY (more than once) and the twit couldn't pronounce it anywhere near right (30:28). The man speaks for a living !!! but chooses to still trip over pronunciation. IT'S NOT HARD so what's the PROBLEM?????

The degree of anger and retribution ideals from some of these people in the comments leaves me to believe. I'm glad they're not in charge of any systems, as lacking as they are, everyone seems to think he's guilty first and then proven innocent. Which is what everybody screams when they know someone is innocent. Pick a team. I don't believe this man is innocent but he deserves a fair trial with a decent lawyer trying to fight for him..
