    Wonderful ride. Thanks so much for sharing. I have always wanted a BMW motorcycle. I can finally afford one but wonder if my age and weight would be a factor. I owned a Harley Sportster 3 years ago but it cornered so poorly that riding curves was frightening. Back in the early 1970s my Honda 750 cornered beautiful. I imagine this 1200 BMW would but a smile on this old face of mine? I am not getting any younger so now may be the time! Thanks again for an enjoyable video! Guy USA

      Hello Charles and thank you so much for your message, appreciated.
      The Urban GS is a great motorcycle and the engine is just amazing. The riding position is a bit odd at the beginning. When you get to know the bike, then is great fun... Cornering is so easy! I think you should test ride it! The sound is just pure adrenaline 😄 I had many motorcycles in the past: let me just say that the urban is very cool. Not the perfect bike for touring but the looking and the feelings 👍🏻
      Take care and ride safe when you buy it ✨✨✨

    Beautiful video, excellent shots. The sound of the Urban GS is fantastic: I have the same one and I'm thrilled. I've been on the Stelvio several times and it's always exciting to ride its curves. Good boy!

    Pretty much how I remember my R80GS and R100GS. You could do a pretty rapid scoot through the hills/twisties then go exploring some firetrails as the next day - all on the same bike.

    Hi. Enjoyed that. I've been attempting similar videos on my Urban GS down here in NZ but the sound quality has been poor. Can I ask about the set-up used here? And also how you have the camera mounted? I've secured mine to the front mudguard but prefer your angle. Thanks.

    • @leobond77

      Hi. Sorry for the delay in answering your question. I followed a tutorial on TH-cam about getting the perfect engine sound. You need an external microphone. I used the Zoom H1n: you can get it on Amazon. There are many interesting tutorial you can follow. It's very important to synchronise video and sound afterwards.
      The GoPro mount is called chesty and I believe is the best mount for biking and cycling. Hope to have answered your questions. Take care and safe rides in your beautiful land. ✌🏼✌🏼✌🏼

    • @leobond77
      @leobond77  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@FAISAL15S it's a great bike with a great engine. If you travel and you need some proper storage space, there are some good panniers designed for the UGS. Surly it is not a travel bike like the GS or the Africa Twin. There is no proper wind protection but you can drive 300 Kms no stop without problems. It really depends on what you wish. My suggestion is to test drive it... Probably you fall in love with the bike 😀

      Comment tu la roules ta BM ? En 6 du début à la fin ?
      Quant à la boîte, elle est quand même bruyante sur ce modèle.

    • @paulzeeb8526
      @paulzeeb8526 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@gillounet4766 Pas du tout c’est une boîte silencieuse mais comme tous les véhicules avec des boites méca il y a un timing à respecter entre chaque passages ,sur cette BMW Nighty le passage est très court mais il ne faut pas lever la n’importe quand pour enclencher une vitesse il faut sentir quand le rapport est synchronisé avec le contour et engager la vitesse, pareil pour rétrograder… autrement dit il faut se servir de ses oreilles et bien écouter le moteur. régler le sélecteur et le levier d’embrayage à la bonne hauteur ou angle en fonction de ta taille et du type de chaussures que tu portes aide aussi. c’est pareil pour ma vieille 911. et pour toutes mes autres Bmw des années 80. et donner un coup de gaz trop fort pour faire monter les tours ne résout pas le problème au contraire pas plus que d’écraser le sélecteur pour forcer une vitesse à descendre. les profs d’Autoecole n’apprennent pas aux élèves à faire fonctionner la mécanique de leur moto mais à suivre le code bêtement . c’est tout le savoir conduire. Si quand tu embraye à fond et que tu mets la première tu entends un claquement ça veut dire que ton embrayage est mal réglé ou ton ralenti trop haut. et si tu me laisses pas ton ralenti redescendre un peu avant d’engager une vitesse claquera aussi .etc…essaye déjà avec ça. Sur celles que j’ai essayé la boîte n’a pas de bruit inhabituel en tout cas bien moins que le Moteur, il est possible q’on t’ai prêter une moto mal réglé où un peu fatiguée ou qui a été mal utilisé et d’on l’usure s’ entendais ?. ou je ne sais quoi salut et Bonne route. 👍👍
