Hi kids......the elder Mr & Mrs Adventure here. Now you are in our old stomping ground. We live about a 2 hour drive away and spent many of our anniversaries there. My Handsome Prince and I aren't able to travel anymore. Last year we didnt know our 68th anniversary would be our last trip. Actually although it seems sad....we feel blessed that on many of our travels...we didnt know they were for the last time. Since our 69 anniversary is in October....we thank you for taking the trip for us...plus filming so many familiar places in the Cascades. We have watched the little town of Marblemount change along with the facilities at Lake Diablo. We have taken the boat trip you mentioned, too. The Cascades have remained as wondrous as ever through all these years. Hasn't even missed US one bit. Hgwy 20 closes during the winter....no one gets through. Many avalanches cross and close the Hgwy. Usually our last trip is to see the fall colors...then again in the spring to visit the really nice campgrounds....even if just a picnic. Our big adventure this year is leaving the house we built and cherished for 23 years to move to a condo. I wrote to you that it was ok....and it is. We have the same easy love that you two share so... just biding our time until that really last BIG adventure. It's all good! Sending love and appreciation.
Hey Mr and Mrs Adventure Sr. You're very sweet! We love that you and your hubby have shared many many wonderful times in this area together over the years. Sending love from our rolling home to your new home! ❤️
The sky, the snow, the sun, the rivers, the mountains, the animals, ALL IS PERFECT and ??? NO COVID ! 😉😎😍 JUST YOU TWO , WITHOUT POLLUTION !!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ALL GIFTS.
Oh my gosh, so breathtakingly beautiful there. You are so fortunate to be able to experience nature’s beauty this way. Drew’s ride down the mountain on his derrière looked like such a hoot. Safe travels lovelies. x
That was beautiful it's it's crazy because it's real life even the movies couldn't make it look more beautiful that was amazing thank you guys for sharing and Brittany you are much braver than I I think the boys would have been up near my throat if I had gone in swimming in the glacier water you're crazy! LOL and more tiny feet !!! lol Drew I have a story for you in Northern California in Yosemite there is a Day hike to osterander lake we wound up camping there 3 days 2 nights it was a super cold lake underneath a permanent snowpack and me and three of my best friends took the better part of the day to climb to the very very top probably a mile straight up the snow-covered face of the mountain that fed the lake, it took me three & a half minutes to get down , I had brought a rain Slicker with me and I did exactly what you did! The only difference was I slid for 3 and 1/2 minutes straight it was amazing!!! And when I finally reached the bottom all around the lake people were clapping and cheering and yelling they had watched us all day climbing and climbing and climbing it was super fun you totally reminded me of that I hadn't thought of that for 25 years thank you guys so much for being silly and being you and for sharing ... I love you both ! Brittany you're adorable. ,you guys are just the cutest couple together... Stay safe my friends I look forward to your next adventure❤❤❤😃😃😃
Glad you enjoyed it so much! Thanks for sharing your version. Wow! You made it down in no time at all. You must have sprayed PAM on your rain slicker to keep the speed up. 😉Next time we will go more prepared 😁
No Pam just plenty of stupidity my friends parents were really pissed whenever I got to the bottom cuz if I had gotten hurt they didn't know how to get us out LOL I was only 18 I didn't care I would do it again to tell the truth... Anyway I love your video thank you
That was such a beautiful video that I'm watching it again! 👌 Sometime it would be awesome to shoot in 4K and get even higher definition. ETA there's a lot of white exhaust belching from your van (9:33)
@@Mrandmrsadventure Thanks! Had me worried for mo! 😆 In fact, I re-watch many of your videos because often I miss seeing something interesting. Just love your adventures. Wish I was there ❤️
That was the most incredible footage. I would have to say, the most beautiful place I've seen you go to. I can't get over how you could see Mount Ranier! Wow, I'm 62 and have never been there, I would definitely do that hike. God's amazing creation!
Thanks! Both Parts 1 & 2 were exquisite - conveying both the beauty and isolation of this gem. Hopefully, after Covid you'll venture back for Part 3 - a visit to Stehekin and the even more isolated south side of the park. You'll have to leave your van in Chelan (because the nearest outside road is 50 miles from Stehekin) and either take the ferry up Lake Chelan, fly in by floatplane, or hike the Pacific Crest Trail. I spent two seasons there as the park's artist-in-residence (one with my kids) and the experience was sublime! Wishing you two safe travels and blissful memories.
Great Video Guys! There is so much snow on the North Cascades Hwy. during the winter, they close the road down and don't open it back up until spring... When it opens depends on the snowfall totals. The drive through to Marblemount is Spectular. Stop and eat at the restaurant/burger joint in town I call "Bunny Burgers". We named it because there are so many bunnies running around the grass yard on the property...
You already no I'm going to say how beautiful this scenery is. From water to snow just amazing. You already no I'm going to thank you for taking me along. So today let's just focus on the two amazingly beautiful happy smiling faces that bring us all these destinations. If I had one wish it would be a Brittany and Drew pill to be made and my whole small town to take one. I do not go into town alot even before the virus quarantine. Work Dailey grocery and dog supplies once a week. It's the same thing every trip. People standing discussing what they don't have. Nobody being thankful for what they do. It sucks and it kills my vibe. No matter what the day brings people be greatful we have another day and for what all we do have. It's so sad. I feel you two think the same as I. I truely believe that. I'm understanding everyone has a bad day I'm not saying your perfect only human. It's sad we are miles apart to never meet or enjoy a hike or a dinner. I keep my positive attitude watching you thru you tube. Please never stop documenting your life. It's truely amazing to watch such appreciative positive folks. Thank you. It takes beautiful people to notice beautiful things. Can't wait til we get to the next destination. I pretend I'm that lil hulla on your dash. Lol. If it already didn't have a name I'd name it my initials,LAH. Call it lah lah. Ha ha get it. I'm so silly I no. Catch u two beauty's later. Can't wait. Keep on smiling!
Our favorite day hike in the PNW. We love taking guests to Cascade Pass. At our age, Sahale Arm is now a two day experience for us - but camping up at the base of the glacier is awesome. Glad you had such a great day for the hike! (also, it's pronounced Sah-HOLL-ee - we've lived here for over 20 years and are still learning how to pronounce PNW names)
Another great video! As you've pointed out, the Northern Cascade National Park mostly happens well away from the roads - it's a hikers and backpackers park. Some of the peaks are among the most infrequently viewed peaks in the continental U.S. (e.g. the Picket Range - you can't see it from any accessible roadway, and must hike several miles to reach an elevation where they are even a speck on the horizon). Sahale Arm is our favorite hike in this already hike-rich state. (and it's Sah-HALL-ee)
Incredibly beautiful place. Haven't seen a sky that blue since I northern Idaho & Canada. Sure miss summers in those places. Sept is always a nice place to travel as the kids are in school, so not so many people out in the wild places, but with Covid, it's an altogether different story. Enjoy yourselves while the weather holds.
I have camped up at Sahale Glacier and you captured that hike beautifully. Pretty sure we woke up in that exact same spot looking up at Three Sisters even. As you hiked up the arm I could feel it all again. That powerful feeling of being so high and seeing the mountains sprawling of into the distance. Love this! Travel safe.
Really love your show. I live in Oregon (Native) and have never been able to visit the North Cascades. My lifelong mission is to see every corner, canyon, and mountain here in Oregon. I'm now wanting to expand my area to include Washington State. I have succeeded to see most of our state but enjoy greatly seeing your adventures in areas I may not ever get to visit. Thanks again and keep adventuring!
Absolutely AMAZING guys! I loved Drew's exit down the slope there, he looked like he was a kid again, how awesome 👌. Great video and excellent scenery. Can't wait til next week!
Wow, I wonder if we were on the lake at the same time! I just did a hike from Diablo Lake up towards Sourdough Mountain and Stetattle Ridge on Aug. 17th and came out via Big Beaver Valley and Ross Lake on Aug 19th. I often paddle my SUP out to Thunder Point when passing though, also! Just one correction: Sahale is pronounced Suh-Haw-Lay, emphasis on Haw.
Such a magical place cant wait to visit one day now. So cool! The nurse trees are amazing and it's so crazy how that tree stump is probably 100s of years old and still giving back to nurse another tree. Thanks for another amazing video guys so inspiring.
Wow! Just beautiful! Thank you for sharing this gorgeous place with us. I’m glad you both decided to go with Thursdays. Also, thank you for that lovely post about being enough right now. I was feeling less than great and that gave me just the little push I needed. We are enough. And you both remind us all to live in the now. ❤️
We can't get enough of the beautiful parks and places in this area. It felt like being onto of the world up there looking around at all of the peaks below. You are enough! Sending you uplifting thoughts all throughout this week! ❤️
Ayyyyeeeee North Cascades vlog!! So cool to have met you both on this hike. We are sad our legs were too toasted to make it to the glacier. Desolation peak might be a rival fot the best views though. Definitely check it out next time! Take care guys and let's hike together soon 🏞️🚐🤗
Was such a highlight meeting you both at the Pass!! Truly. And yes! Desolation Peak, next time 🤗💚 Looking forward to the next time the universe brings us together!

Thank you so much for these videos! My friend and I are traveling here in a few weeks and are trying to figure out what trails to do. Your videos helped a lot!
Pretty sure that was Brittanys way of telling us west coast best coast 🙂loved watching the hike and paddle boarding. Have a good one and hope your next park is great ^_^
Wow I’m so glad I was able to watch part 1 and 2 on the same day. Incredible. ❤️ The lake was so inviting looking and the color was stunning. I love all your videos but anytime water is involved I’m extra happy. Happy and safe travels always 👩🏻🤝👨🏼🚐❤️
Hey Brittany and Drew.....awesome adventure....your commentary, drone work, and mountain views are outstanding...beautiful lake as well...we love watching your videos....all the best from Hank and Pam from South Texas
We love that movie and watched it for the first time on a rainy evening in Salzburg, Austria where it was filmed. This is an unlisted video we filmed in Austria that we recalled being much like the beauty of the area you saw from our footage in the North Cascades. 😊 th-cam.com/video/EEfozRBf-3g/w-d-xo.html
Wow thanks so much for the extra video ☺️, that’s like I watched The Beach 🏝 when I was on Phi Phi Island in Thailand (though I was on the larger of the two islands Phi Phi Don because you can’t stay on the smaller island Phi Phi Ley where the movie was actually filmed but I’d been there for a day trip, walked on the beach and swum in the lagoon).
@@jennya2439 Wow! no way! So cool you were there. The Beach is an excellent movie. We have made it a point to watch movies that are about or filmed in the places we have traveled too. It adds an extra dimension and perspective on places.
Absolutely - it’s so cool to watch a movie/tv show where it’s filmed 😎. When I was in New York I watched re-runs of Sex and the City, as well as doing the Sex and the City bus tour lol 😂. That was an awesome US tour from my home here in Perth Western Australia! Tokyo, LA, San Diego, Las Vegas, Grand Canyon, Bryce Canyon, Zion, Monument Valley (have you been there? It’s my all-time fave), Memphis (Graceland, Sun Studios), New York, San Francisco, Napa Valley, Yosemite, Monterey, Carmel, LA Portland, LA, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Home (Perth). Thanks you guys, you’re videos are always so much fun and so peaceful all at the same time - stay safe xxx
@@jennya2439 That was a great round the world trip you had! Funny we have been everywhere you have listed in the US except for Monument Valley. It was too hot recently for us to want to stay in our van in that area. Hope to make it to Australia one day and live in a van ❤️🤠 xx
So inspiring, addicted to this videos, and ready to continue exploring , we started in the Caribbean and now we moved to the US and have a VW transporter, almost ready to explore
Love this video, it's a great representation of the Pass! I live in Mazama, and I definitely recommend stopping in Winthrop and not Mazama unless you have the time. As cute as Mazama is, with the one store that works as our gas station, grocery store, and Cafe, it gets SUPER busy!
I wish I was on some of your adventures. For now I am happy you are taking us along with you via videos. I really enjoy your adventures, thank you. Keep up the good work 🙂❤
Phew! I was concerned when I didn't see you on Thurs.but very relieved to know you're ok and to see your incredible journey on today's video!!! Is hiking the only way to experience the gorgeous views you shared w/us? I'm not physically able to do what you've done but am hoping to ride into that beautiful 'hidden gem' one day next year:) Mahalo & aloha to you both!
Glad you tuned in today! We are still adjusting to this schedule ourselves. You could always drive up the road to the trailhead but the best part is only reached by hiking. Maybe a private helicopter? You came along with us 😍
We absolutely love our board and find it to be of way better quality than some of the basic inflatables out there. www.hydrusboardtech.com/collections/paddleboard/products/paradise-adventure-inflatable-sup

You must have been there on a weekday. When we visited Lake Diablo a few weekends ago there were over 100 people in the water.
Actually it was a Sunday a while back. Surprisingly it wasn't too busy.
This was absolutely spectacular!!!! Thank you!!! XO!
My home state! Love the North Cascades!
Was waiting all week for part 2! Beautiful ⛰ mountains!
It’s finally here!! Thank you for waiting so patiently 🤗
Omg I was just there! Yesterday. 😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
ah no way!!! SUCH a beautiful place!!
It really is, nice cool fresh air and beautiful nature everywhere. 🌲🌳🌱🌿

Wow what a fabulous place.......You guys are fit...tough hiking...Brittney you are no ordinary chick...well done!
Y’all produce gorgeous videos. Thank you for showing me my beautiful country, while I can’t go anywhere.
So grateful we can take you with us 💚
You came along with us 😍
sah-hall-lee glacier
Indian pronunciation are tough up there
I'm new to the channel and loving your adventures. Fantastic vibes from you both!
What an awesome hike!!! Beautiful! Sorry, I don't see a link for your paddle board anywhere...can you post that? What is your opinion on it? thanks
We absolutely love our board and find it to be of way better quality than some of the basic inflatables out there. www.hydrusboardtech.com/collections/paddleboard/products/paradise-adventure-inflatable-sup
@@Mrandmrsadventure thank you!
Great video! Glad you are enjoying our beautiful parks in Washington. Heads up: Sahale is pronounced Suh - hahl - leeh.
I will be exploring that whole area next summer. I cant wait. Are you going to go down the west coast on 101
Wonderful! TBD.
I have traveled the 101 many times. I think the best way to see it is go to all of the lighthouse locations.
Awesome!
Watching Drew slide down on the snow/ice was the best part! Killing it dude:)
