Watching Jaymes' channel here on TH-cam, I've really seen what a witty, creative, and talented queen she is. It's sucks that it didn't seem to translate on TV, and it REALLY sucks that she didn't get to do a sewing challenge.

I'm so in love with how kind hearted and caring Nina Bo'nina is to the other queens. She's always been one of the sweetest, most down to earth queens when it comes to the fans but the way she treated Jaymes, Charlie and even Kimora was just as kind. She is such an all around queen, I truly hope she goes far.
On the other hand, I'm a newly converted fan of Jaymes, Valentina & Farrah. All so charming and sweet. Sad Jaymes went so soon and even sadder I judged her so quickly. Hope her career flourishes from this.

When we started to her her, producers probably either turned on, or up her microphone, to give the "illusion" that she was "interupting" Charlie. This is why I hope Rupaul's brings James back, in season 10. Eureka was basically GAURANTEED a spot, so what if Ru brings back James too, to bring another element of gag? Plus, on Jame's Instagram, she poses with the season 10 queens, a lot, saying how good they did on the promo. So.... It's a possibility that James WILL be back, sooner or later.

I feel like Charlie is not getting the respect he deserves from the queens and the judges. She is a 52 YEAR OLD DRAG QUEEN. They make her feel like she's on the same pedestal as the other queens, when she is far more experienced and reputed than the other girls. Imagine working hard till you're 52 years old, performing that extremely physical routine and then being told that they can't remember her. There's a certain level of respect that a queen of that age deserves, Chad Michaels got it, but I don't see why Charlie shouldn't.
Because Chas Michaels did give energy. Chad was super memorable and everything she did on season 4 was perfection like her only critique was your too perfect from Michelle visage. This other girl is not that memorable in this challenge. Great look but when you have such strong completion to like Shea, Valentina, and Nina it doesn't matter your age you have to step it up and fight to be seen.

I was mixed about Jaymes. I never found her funny, her outfits werent my taste, but I felt like she was the most relatable queen in recent seasons. A majority of the queens that come on this show are fierce and strong and competitive, which is fine - but so many women nowadays have anxiety issues, body posi issues, confidence issues. You can tell he wanted to come out of his shell and show what he knows he can do, but his mind just wasn't in the right place. I hope he keeps working on improving himself and I wish him nothing but the best.
ALSO, am I the only one who loves sasha velour? Her white party outfit wasn't good in my opinion but her drag is different and really interesting. And it doesnt hurt that she seems like a super fun person to hangout with haha.

tbh seeing Aja's makeup transformation over such a short amount of time was pretty mind blowing. she's come a long way since this season. (she's grown in many other ways, but the makeup transformation to me was massive).
Feel bad for Jaymes - she REALLY wasn't ready for this competition and I'm almost a little angry that RuPaul and the producers put her on this season when she was so obviously going to get eaten alive. Having said that, I'm not entirely convinced it shouldn't have been a double-elimination. For such a kooky, high-energy song the lipsynch from both queens was surprisingly flat.
RuPaul said that when she watched Jaymes' audition tape he was really serving it. I believe that he was intimidated by the other queens and was truly in his head. It was so visible even on the first day as he stepped through those doors.
To be honest I really felt like it should have been a double elimination. The lip sync reminded me of season 5 Honey Mahogany vs. Vivienne Pinay. The energy just wasn't there
if i was in ru's position i know that i couldn't send a person like kimora home first because she lacked in the lipsync because she is a fan favorite with her body and attitude. it would probably cause such an uproar from the fans. but i agree, that lipsync was zzz

Jaymes is the only queen I've shed a tear for on this show... I don't know what it is about her. She is the sweetest, most pure soul, and possesses so much talent. She's one of my favorite queens. I'll miss her on the show, but I'm so excited to see what else she's gonna do.

This maybe one of the most supportive sisterhoods of RPDR tbh. I can't figure out who is my favorite which is obviously understandable it's only ep 2 but I don't know. I think Nina, Shea, and Alexis are up there.
Matt for real. Like as much as fans love the drama, I actually like it way more when the girls are supportive of each other. Competition is great and all, but we do not need another season 7 untucked where a lot of the queens were unbearable.
Season 8 was definitely the most supportive sisterhood. Cynthia, Chi Chi Devayne, Bob, Kim Chi, Naomi, etc. Especially if you watched the Untucked episodes, there was so little drama.

Just my thoughts from this episode
1) I wasn't blown away by either of the queens lipsync but I enjoyed Jaymes way more than Kimora. He broke my heart when he cried😫.
2) I'm glad Valentina won she was picked last and I think the other queens underestimate her.
3) I am kinda over hearing the word cucu already
4) just from watching her videos and performances I didn't think Charlie's confidence would be shaken so easy
1. Jaymes wasn't there when he needed to be the most (the lipsink). 2. Cynthia can say cucu as much as she wants.. its her mouth and she is enjoying life since after all, liver cancer is the most deadly cancer and she beat it. Let her live her life.

And I'm not taking anything away from Cynthia I can understand her battle as ALL types of cancer are horrible and potentially lethal. I have personally been touched by cancer. And no bashing here in my comments but it's just like with other catch phrases or slogans after awhile of hearing it consistently enough you do become less enamored with it. That's the case with CuCu for me but like I said opinions.....
I understand that. I was just saying for me it didn't come down to the performance it was what you could feel from them. Kimora wasn't there mentally but she fought for it. Jaymes didn't fight for it. He started to do what Kimora was doing because he wasn't confident in himself to make his own moves. Jaymes pretty much was over it once he got there. He expected a sewing challenge and didn't get one and at the moment it was over.
To be fair, there's always a sewing challenge in the first episode, and they always make a big deal out of someone not knowing how to sew. It was rather strange to not have one.
