The chat between the safe queens of who they would kai-kai with is probably my favorite Untucked moment of all time. They're all just relaxed and laughing, everybody getting a moment to shine. Nina and Alexis aren't in their heads, Shea is being her natural charming self, Sasha and Cynthia are adorable, Eureka and Charlie are great too. And all the laughing, including from me!
I Think One Of The Things That Makes Season 9 A Amazing Season Is You Can Tell They All Get Along Well. They All Care For Each Other And I Feel Every Queen From That Season, Even Jaymes Who Was The First One Out Are Memorable

It's also not only a design challenge, but a story and character driven challenge. The outfit isn't the only thing needed to win and everyone seems to forget that. Maybe her full fairytale story when presented to the judges wasn't as strong/funny as the top three. It's never just about the look, their personality needs to shine stronger as well.

It's hard to believe how much Aja changed in a few months before she went back in for All Stars. There was no question that she brought her back for her drama value. That girl was amazing indefinitely should have made it to the top in All Stars. They critiqued her very hard. I think they planned on her going home by the second episode. Based on her looks on season 9 why else would they have brought her back is an All-Star not even a year later. Well done Aja you showed them.

You know, I thought Kimora was bitchy and full of herself. However, with this, she's so down to earth and so caring. Her personality shines through in this episode and her excitement is infectious. Aja was frustrated and had a moment of weakness in which she let that frustration get the better of her. People do that sometimes, especially when under considerable pressure to succeed like during a competition. You're right, she has grown since this season, but that moment of frustration in this Untucked doesn't make me hate her any less. She said what I was thinking myself, that the judges were too lenient on Valentina for coming out in what looked like a wind-element tinkerbell pixie outfit instead of a *princess* outfit.
And before you say "Well other queens are under pressure and they don't lash out", just know that everyone is different and everyone processes their feelings differently. When Nina is stressed, she shuts down. When Farrah is stressed, she cries. When Katya was stressed, she smoked like a chimney on her first season. It is important that people try to make sure their coping methods don't hurt others, but understanding the more aggressive behaviors is needed if you want to expect an apology, bottom line.

I had totally different impressions of these queens from the trailers/ teasers... I was seriously 100% sure kimora was about to blow every contestant in rpdr history out of the water. first impressions aren't everything.

Nothing against the girls but none of them really look like fairytale princesses? If you look at them as a group, you wouldn't be able to guess that was the challenge theme. Kim Chi popping up looks more like royalty out of a story than any of the queens do.
