      Do you suggest this one instead of the classic mh-500? I prefer this one of the video at a first view, but I don't understand why it looks more complete and it cost less 🙄🙄😅 what I am missing?

    Hey man great review, thanks for putting it together. One question I'd have once you'll have used it a bit more in the field : how reliable is that main zipper in terms of durability? I never used a system like this before and am concerned it might eventually fail during a hike leaving the bag useless to old my stuff. Esp due to the fact it can also be zipped from the bottom up.

    Great little video man, would you still recommend this bag? I'm heading to Asia for 6 weeks, looking for a decent 50L. I've also been looking at a Solognac 50L on decathlon.

    Some people have commented about the security concern with the exposed zipper which does seem like a legitimate concern. I am wondering if when traveling through airports or cities using the rain cover could help eliminate this concern. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

    Thanks! But the front zipper is secure? I mean If somebody else wants to stole something is easy to open. Can the bottom zipper go to top closing ? or there are something where use a padlock?

    • @glennrowanoutdoors5098
      @glennrowanoutdoors5098  3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      That's a good observation. I don't think it would be possible to lock as the zips go to opposite sides off the bag. So probably not great of taking through an airport or somewhere busy

    • @lefterismagkoutas4430
      @lefterismagkoutas4430 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@glennrowanoutdoors5098 That's honestly my only complaint with this bag as well but I believe it is quite important. The fact that the front zipper can't be locked, but more importantly, can be opened from such an easy angle just instantly makes me not consider this backpack at all, however good it might be.
      Sorry for barging like that, your review was fantastic but this is the first place I saw someone mention this flaw and I couldn't resist to write a comment. It is a pity because in all other regards, I believe this is the best budget backpack out there and if they could have just put the zipper differently this problem would not even exist.

      Many people have said bottom zipper is secure enough that it doesn't open automatically during a trek, But if thats something you are worried about, then you can simply tie a lace from the bottom loops to the zipper and it wont go up.
      For security, like at airports:
      The only solution I found is to buy a retractable cable lock.
      Lock the bottom zip to the loops found at the bottom of the bag.
      Top of the bag isn't much secure either, it has clips which, when you unlock, gives easy access to the zipper. So I guess if you have a long enough cable, then you could loop the bottom zipper around the bag and lock both the zippers.
      A lot of people are swearing by this backpacks comfort and features and its a shame that security seems to be an overlooked feature.

    Good review. I just ordered one, so hopefully it goes well. I like that it opens at the front, and with its size I think it should just about squeeze into the overhead compartments on the airlines I fly with. It seems that the 60-65 litre backpacks are too long for it. Does anyone here have experience with this?
