I like being under the radar, but keep in mind: According to ESPN and On3, A&M has a Top 10 roster talent rating; A&M is #1 in the SEC for returning production; they are ranked #4 in portal transfers for all of CFB; Vegas has Conner Weigman with 8th best odds to win the Heisman; A&M has one of the deepest RB rooms in CFB; question marks are WR, CB, OL; strengths are DL, QB, DB, RB. I like our chances.

Define "returning talent"? a7m only returns something like 11-12 starters. The portal rankings I saw that included outgoing players as well as incoming players the aggies weren't in top 50.

@@Kingolimar354Absolutely false. We lost like 3-4 meaningful contributors and gained about 15+ older starters from other schools. Some wildly more talented than the players we lost. Scourton, Howell, Trey Jones, BJ Mayes, Eli Ricks, Solomon Williams, Cyrus Allen, Jabre Barber, Armaj Reed Adams, Jaydon Hill are just some of the examples

Look, as an Aggie, my best hope this year is a 11-1 season. My realistic hope is a 8-4 season. My Aggie trauma tells me it's gonna be a 7-5 season at best. All I know is, no matter what the season turns out to be like, that last game in November against the T-sips will be the absolute game of the year. Rivalries make teams turn it up to 11 no matter how badly they performed previously, and I cannot wait to see the Lone Star Showdown be reborn.

I think you're going to be surprised. Elko is a different kind of coach than the last few guys. I think the biggest difference is that he brings discipline and structure that we haven't had since rc's early years.

Why do so many prominent college football personalities miss on the aggies every. Single. Year. Every year. Without fail.
The ags aren't going ANYWHERE they have not been before. They are going to be the same middle of the pack team they've been, well, forever.
They are an SEC team so almost half their wins are FCS quality teams, if not outright FCS teams.
They are .500 in conference play in their last three conferences. When they run from Texas, they are gonna be .500 in their next conference too.
