It’s always nice to see when a doe gives birth unassisted. It means she is strong and the babies are in somewhat good positions. But I absolutely know how important it is to intervene and help when needed. It’s lifesaving! I’ve needed to a few times. ❤❤
I’m so thankful that we’ve had really great births so far. I’ve assisted a few times but nothing major. I feel like I’m adding to my knowledge base so I’ll know what to do it needed.
@@EweGoatToBeKidding oh that’s awesome! I love watching life coming into the world. I’m still in awe that your doe carried 5 little babies inside her for five months! Sweet mama. 😅💖
I'm so glad to catch your video for the first time. It's wonderful to see all five healthy babies. Congratulations. I just subscribed and will be watching these little guys! 💖💖💖
Hi from Northern California I raised goats most my life I just wanted to tell you female mama goats are called Doe . Ewes are sheep just came across your page
I’m not sure there are any official different kinds. Since these are mini Lamanchas, they are mixed with Nigerian Dwarfs. So they can exhibit some of the ND characteristics too. Breed standard for the Lamancha is the very tiny gopher ears, but some will have longer from the ND mixed in. Coat length is usually determined by the weather. They get long and fluffy in the winter and smooth and short during the summer. They shed out somewhat similar to a dog. Some do seem to have longer hair than others, but that would just be individual genetics. Some people even shave their goats short for shows to see their body structure better or to help keep them clean after birthing. They are all still just mini Lamanchas though! Same for the difference in height. A standard Lamancha is quite tall, a ND is quite short. So the minis can have quite a range in between. You can check MDGA’s website for the official mini height range.
They are a breed of dairy goat called mini Lamanchas. They are known for having tiny external ears. They do have actual ears and can definitely hear, but it’s quite a unique look!
How much did the babies average in weight?? She did an amazing job with all of them! Congratulations 🎉 and your children are so smart and attentive. You’re a lucky lady for sure.
Thank you. I am definitely so thankful and my kids are pretty awesome if I do say so myself 🥰. The 3 smaller ones were all just under 3 lbs and the bigger two were right at 4 lbs.
We have not even seen quads yet! Quints is banans!!! Congratulations!!
Thanks! We had quads last year which I thought was crazy!

Beautiful brood, love the colors
Thank you!
Well done mummer they look so adorable and lovely and cute happy feets 😊
I would love to know what pain and after birth tincture you are using. This is so awesome. Thx for sharing!
Thank you! The pain tincture is Ow-Eze from Molly’s Herbals. The birth tincture is EZ Birth from Land of Havilah herbs.
From the different colors of the children, it is clear that the children had more than one father.
Nope! It’s crazy what combos can happen, but they are definitely all from the same dad. I only have one intact buck!

What different kinds of LaManchas are there? I have seen tall ones, shorter ones, smoothe haired ones, and ones with long hair on their back legs

5 baby goats how amazing. Why don't the goats have ears?

Beautiful❤❤❤❤❤
Can I ask why they don't have ears ?
It’s their breed! They do have ears, just small ones tucked right on their heads. Lamancha dairy goats all have small ears like this.
Your channel name couldn’t be more appropriate to respond to 5 kids! 😱😂
Lol! Yes it is!
You need to use a blue bulb syringe instead of whatever your using
This is a Nosefrida Snot Sucker made for baby humans. It works brilliantly and is able to be cleaned - unlike a bulb syringe. This is much better.
@@EweGoatToBeKiddingbrilliant use for the nosefrida! I heard it work wonderfully.
awesome

We're are the GLOVES.
No gloves necessary! They were both beautiful and healthy right outside.
